business / gang guns

are being bought not knowing that you need to be in a particular gang / business to use them, and this is not the player's fault at all. common sense says if they bought a gun, they would be able to use it. a few people are coming to me asking me why they can't use their ravson 5, etc.

do something about it poor newbies..

There's buisness locked weapons? What do you think when you hear "Gang Guns?" Guns designed for a gang.. You should realize what they're used for.

Maybe if you right click on a weapon it gives the stats for it and tell you if it has a lock.

If crows system is going in (is it still being worked on?) Gang guns wont have that problem and buisness guns could just be made nontradeable

There are benefits beyond just having a name in parenthesis in your nick. Games are based on advancement and power, especially online games.

that's unacceptable logic here. new players have no idea that there are guns they won't be able to use without a certain tag and it is in no way advertised to them, so they are baited into it. keep in mind these guns are really really ****ing good, so players in businesses can easily sway their decision and make them buy it. it's not a mistake at all, how can you blame them?

How about have it where gang/business guns can't be traded or dropped. If they leave the gang/business there should be a way for them to sell it to an NPC from anywhere between 25 percent to 50 percent of its value.

I actually like that idea...for current Era atleast. It would prevent people from joining gangs just for the gun..because they know that they will lose out when they leave.
