New Era Events?!

Welcome Era Players!

I am going to create some new Events for Era, And I would like to know. Do you have any Ideas for new events? If u have any great idea’s, Please tell me more about it!

Please, Dont give answers which are like ''A new race'', ''More CTF Maps'' Etc.
Give me a detailed idea, Which could be like ''More CTF Maps, They only use the Basic CTF Map now, And we could use more maps. So we have more difference between them. Like a map in Ninja Style, When u can also get trapped by Katana's, Falling cages and more traps like that. And a Katana take some health down, If u get caught in a cage u get warped back to the Start point, And more things like that.''

Dodge Ball - self explanatory

The Thing

Player Limit: 15 - 20 players

Time Limit: 5 - 10 minutes

Description: Players are spawned in a random room of the level by themselves. Each player will only have a limited range of view, as seen in Maze Race. One random player is chosen as "The Thing". The chosen one will have a longer range of view, more health points, and be able to move faster than the humans. Also it should be able to regenerate its health over time if left alone for too long. Humans will only be limited to the event-made guns such as a handgun or some sort of shotgun. The Thing will be limited to melee attacks.

Objective: In order for the humans to win, they will have to either survive for 5 - 10 minutes or kill The Thing. In order for The Thing to win, it must kill all of the humans within the given time.

This is like a ET is running around at the Gmap/Event level(gmap) and the players have to kill him right?

CTF is done just use the system we had for the proper ctf where both teams need to capture the flag and score. All you have to do is make more exciting ctf levels for it.

hmm explain dodge ball a bit more, two teams and they throw balls at each other?

This is pretty much how it goes.



Two teams are on each side. Each team gets an X amount of balls to throw. They aren't allowed to pass the line in the middle. If a player is hit by a ball they are kicked out. The balls should pretty much be like throwing bushes, except with a longer range.

It's pretty simple.

Ninja CTF Will probaly be finished Today or Tomorrow!

Just a sample layout for "The Thing".

Like I explained before; players will start off by themselves with a low range of sight. They can retrieve flashlights from the hospital and weapons (event shotgun or handgun) from the armory. The flashlights should increase their range of sight as far as The Thing's range of sight.

Maybe only incress there range of sight the way they are faceing, since its a flashlight

Those are buildings. But that map was just a concept or sample.

Damnit Crow, I've told you guys about that effect when I first brought up "The Thing" on RC. I've already seen this effect way back from Maloria.

No TSA, I've asked Sales about it. And he said that i may make Events for him, And that they could be used if they are good. This is nothing about a Job on Era or whatever. Im just a Freelance Event Maker.

You asked me if you could help make events and I said you can make whatever you want (I can't stop you), but it doesn't mean it will get used. If it's good, I like it, and the players like it, then it can be used if that's what you want.

The main message says that im workin on Dogde Ball, But i am going to start working on ''The Ting'' today! Dodge Ball is actually useless because it can be hosted in a level like LMS.

Or get two staff members with the boomerang staff stick and use that as the ball in the LMS level like it was done previously.

I have a job on Ol West now, And Era doesnt have any respect for the Events i make. I made a great CTF, But they dont even have some time to add some scripts into it.

I've made a whole Ninja CTF, Complete finished. But they didnt want ME to add scripts, And now they dont have time to add them.
