The idea is all there, Its just the colours. Make the Silver more metallic looking and maybe change the Brownish colour.

Well, i suggested earlier you make it thinner, By a little margin, Then perhaps make some kind of grip in the middle of it.

The Bright red colour doesnt go with the bergundy kind of colour, Make the bergundy parts red like that.

Edit: Try and blend the colours together when you shade, rather than making one part Dark and one part Bright.
