House Style

I know there's a scroll of house restyle you can get at the EC shop, but how about a scroll that lets you change the outside of your house. Like a forest house on Zormite, or a Zormite House.... well who in the ****(heck) wants a Zormite house? I mean... jeez, make it gray not blue, and put in something other then sand for floors.

I'd change that but Bjorn yelled at me for suggesting that the Zormite tilesets were imperfect.

You added this to suggestions. I just read complainments and actually don't see anything very helpful

All suggestions are just complaints in disguise.

The suggest is, add a scroll to the pile of house-renovating scrolls that's lets you change the outside appearance of the house.
(And I don't mean custom graphics for a house, I just meant another kingdom's house appearance. Like if someone comes over to Zormite from Forest but wants to keep a tree-themed 'house')

Thats bad, very bad. Kingdoms need their own code house styles.
I thought it was something like, add a scroll and something new is added to your home such as ivy or something.

Alright, then I suppose a comprimise is in order. Your idea is good, in that if the idea was properly managed, well designed, and well implemented, you can add a variety of themes to the base houses. So even though a Zormite house is still a pile of rocks, you can add leaves and ivy to it to make it a forest like house. Or you can add some masonry to the stones so they look a lit bit better carved, more like a Dustari house.

It is helpful, you just are too lazy to do anything about it. He was trying to say that Zormite houses looked bad. To tell you the truth, alot of the tilesets look funny and need some redoing.

No insulting. What should I do about it? I'm not artist. Well, even if you would be forest your house is still on zormite and so it is a zormite house.

I don't think it's a good idea to mix up the kingdom house styles. If you want a restyling for your houses, you should start to make some examples for your kingdom. I am sure they will get a chance, if the community likes the new looking.
But the suggestion to build a forest house on another kingdom, I vote with a no.

Alright, since when was this about mixing up the kingdom houses?

He was talking about a new house look for Zormite.

Although I do not agree to Elves using tree's as houses, I am not complaining about forest houses and how they look. And I wont want a house right now anyways, why I let someone else have it...

Just for the record, I too agree that you shouldnt build forest kingdom houses on zormite island or any other isle. Same goes for the other kingdom houses too. That would defeat the purpose of making them look different.

So was does it means? For me it sounds like to have a recolored Forest outside looking house on Zormite. But if I am wrong all the better.

Should just give the players a choice from like 5 different styles of a kingdom house. Then you attach flowerpots or a fountain or something to your house area.

Perhaps different styles for each kingdom could have a different flag you can buy. Or maybe random styles might create some more interest in houses.

I like the house style now for all the kingdoms. And i think if it is so that you can make a e.g forest house on CP it will look funny

This is what I am not saying, What I am saying is you would have more then just 1 standard type of CP house, more then 1 type of Samurai house. But you could only build these on their respective kingdom island.

Forest house is a house made from a tree, literally. Well this would mean that the tree would look different then the other type of forest house. Therefore you would have 2 different styles of forest houses. This same theory could be applied to the interal part of the house as well.

I did not yell at him but I can agree and say that some pices of the zormite tileset are imperfect. In my opinion, this is not a suggestion at all.
But wait, he'd change that? Change what? He would like to improve the tileset? He offered his help to improve the tilest. This is all what I can get from that.

Now please show me the line where he said that he wants to try a new tileset for the zormite houses?

Actually thats a good idea...so for forest you could have the normal house, maybe a treehouse type thing and a few others. that would be actually cool. I don't think though that you should be able to use other kingdom tilesets for other kingdoms. if you want to change the look of ur house outside then you use what that kingdom provides.

i think they should add different house styles, maybe about 3 per kingdom to start with. Give you a good variety to choose from. it seems like we all agree on this.
is there anyone who know's how to work on tilesets that's interested in taking on the task?
