For me to get my acct. name changed?

I've been meaning to get a new account with a more reasonable name such as "Luc" being my first name, due to the fact there isn't so many people who play this game in comparsion to other MMORPGs I thought that name would be available

I then thought, "Hm, maybe if I asked nicely to the people at GO.com I could get all my data shifted over to my new account" but then I realised that you could easily change the name of the account and it's Happy Days all over again.

Is this possible? Or would I have to arrange creating a new acct and talking to a techie such as Stefan to get my stuff shipped over?

I should really send a support ticket but I prefer the convenience of this forum.

Because I mean, come on. D4rKv310c1ty makes me look like a little lame script kiddy. It's long story however, as to why I chose that name in the first place.

Having your account data transferred is likely if you ask nicely. I am not sure how Graal's database is arranged though, so renaming it might be a different story.

In general it is possible to change account names. But it's mostly a time problem because only Stefan and Unixmad are able to do it since Ibonic is not available anymore. Please use the support center for such requests.

they've done it for other people as far as i'm aware o.o

Accounts cannot be renamed because several things are connected to it, like the subscriptions. Only changing the case (upper case to lower case etc.) is easily done.

I was always told it would never happen because of the time it takes to do it, then the loads of people who would want it done.

Just make a new account, onlinetime and all that is ONLY ONLINETIME and doesn't make you look cool if you have 13423040234 hours.

Should offer to change them when users pay a fee of like 10-15 bucks or something.

You know? The only reason why i'd want to worry about online time is for when guilds require a certain amount other than that I couldn't careless.

I just want all my GK data and items stored safely. And also data from other servers such as UN, Era and etc.

I could join any damn guild I like regardless of onlinetime, it's just the fact that I'm known on Graal.
