A way to get GK's player count up

I know there have been many of these, but I will put my input in also, since like 5 other people have, here is a list of what I think needs to happen happen.

1. More Quests to do.
If you look at all the other RPing Games out there like WoW, Runescape, or DDO ((Dungeon and Drgaons Online)), they have ALOT fo quests to do, which gets you experience and such for gmae play

2. UPDATES
How many times has this come up, MAKE UPDATES. Nothing is going to change without updates, duh. I have talked to ALOT of oldbies about GK and they said they mostly quit because of bordom and no updates. If you make updates, then there will be more to do, which counts for player count on server.

3. New items, weapons, things that are useful
I would agree that SOMEHOW the canon ball bag is useful for kingdom wars and such, but what is the point for it other than that. If you ware going to make some new items, then make new items that are useful, like weapons, or good armor only able to get through quests ((Which I said for Number 1)), killing certain monsters, and such. It would help with player count also.

4. New Monsters
If you get Newer monster that are harder to kill for Higher Level players, then it would make a challange for them and they would have to work harder to kill them to get maybe a good item to make something that is rare ((There goes the new items)) and which would bring the player count up for the older players that quit from bordom do to nothing to kill for fun.

5. A better tutorial for newer players
There isnt really a good tutorial to help the newer players. It is really hard to understand that Platinum is the main currency if non of the accual players tell somebody, they just get made fun of for not knowing that Platinum is mainly the thing you need to live on GK. Try to add more info on how the REAL GK runs, and not just how to farm and run the spell system...

6. Advertisment
I know that MANY players have said they would advertise for you in the past, but you wouldnt take it. I am one of them, I will Advertise for you, by putting things on my car, I will even pay for a billbaord advertisement if I was told what to put up on one.

1-6 yes. But graal development has a habit of going half way and stopping or changing course on Everything.

these are the most low effecting high maintenance ideas i have ever seen!

a designer knows he has achived perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but there is nothing left to take away, GK needs to reach this point, then expand accordingly(to whatever point GK has)

Anyway, I love the ideas...Come on Unix/Stefan...chance to jump the money influx and get some new 16 Processor loaded servers from IBM...the kind with the sexy motherboard designed to handle REALLY high amounts of data movement...and can emulate a video card through all 16 processors...erm...anyway... Yea...the update parts a biggy, along with the advertisement...Could use a face lift regarding the critters of GK as well.

Maybe...I also think that there should be more craftable, but also good items. Dont throw them out it events x-x Its just stupid.

GK needs more items. Quest items, drops, etc... Get rid of these EA and EW bs, or atleast make it so they don't have as big of an impact. The game needs more variety.

Right on the money. I've been saying get rid of the preps and eas for a long time. Without them it isnt so easy to just devistate people/monsters.

GK is dead, theres no way to bring it back. The playerbase that enjoyed it has ran out of time, and I really dont expect them to pay for this game to play a "new" and "improved" Graal Kingdoms. Just enjoy what we have right now. I personally don't see how this server is still supported due to its the same thing now as it was when I started playing.

this is why GK sucks, almost none of you know what to put in a game to make it good.

Ugh ugh ugh! Its suppose to be a roleplaying server but there is no roleplaying! The things you have suggested everyone has been saying over and over. No new players will come you need a reset if anything.

gk is not dying, it is dead in the water. This game has been around for four almost 5 years now and it is still in BETA... I thought you Were supposed to improve gameplay. I first started playing gk 4 years ago, pretty sad gk never made it past BETA stage. Yet they charge for the game lol.

They should make a completely new server with some other name just like GK but much better...and leave GK on the serverlist for some days/weeks. And then remove it :o

That would be good cept alot of us have worked our butts off. What they need to do is release stuff...about once every two weeks so that way ppl don't leave and ppl start coming back.
