Ok i am not asking agan but i wanna know how to script a hat system for items so when u buy it it gose stright to that item so when u lauch the itme it has the hats in a crcle around ur head and it shows the hat gfx

You really shold learn to script. All you seem to do is ask for scripts.
And I doubt you even look over the scripts to see how they work. I may be wrong there but I don't think I am.

actually, i have trouble w/ this too, could you just tell me what commands i should use, not the script, just the commands. and as a note, don't ask for full scripts, just for a little help, you have to do most of it your self, the best way to learn though is to look at other scripts may i suggest www.graal.net? they post scripts there and it can help you learn from examples. DON'T just copy paste, learn from them, make them better etc. this way you can script cool things all on your own

Dude, you was using a deprecated command the other day, let alone toweapons, and not knowing setlevel2 was serverside.

If you have to ask, you're not good enough to do it. If you thoroughly read and understood the commands.txt and probably most of the GS2 documents, do so.

Don't get angry and yell at us because of your own incompetence.

Also, it may help your cause if you would take some time in your post.

• Do not use single letters for words. It is not much harder to type 'you'.
• Capitalization and punctuation are your friends. They really, really are.
• When in doubt, use a spell checking. Makeing -> making. Usually when the -ing suffix is added to a word ending with an 'e', the 'e' is dropped.
• It helps to follow English spelling and grammar standards when making posts.

It's the newbie scripters bible. and it helped me out alot back when I first started scripting.

Scripting a hat system. and or just a hat NPC is not too hard. If you take a bit of time to read through that. and maybe find some more you should be capable of doing it.

When it doubt, use a spell checking. Makeing -> making. Usually when the -ing suffix is added to a word ending with an 'e', the 'e' is dropped.

I think you meen in, but maybe you put it there on purpose. Just pointing it out

Want to know something? I personally think the best way to learn is to watch other people script. I had a friend a while ago who had wanted to make his own server. He wasn't the world's greatest scripter but he did know quite a few things. When I was learning how to script, he gave me scripts for things all the time. I would look at the scripts, try to find errors, and watch how they worked. For example, he once gave me this script:

if(playerchats&&strequals(#c,buy coffee)&&playerrupees>4){playerrupees=playerrupees-5;
showlocal}
if(playertouchsme){playerhearts=playerhearts+2;
hide}
this was a simple script made for buying coffee. I looked at it for a while, and used it for a small graal-like game I made for Spanish class. (Yeah, I made a game for Spanish class I wasn't good at scripting, levels designing or anything else, but I made like a ten level game that everyone in my class was highly impressed with ) Anyway, there was no coffee in my game. I used arroz con pollo . And it was free, since I was making a short game. I had saw into the scripting and figured out how to change things. For example it wasn't much later that I made this:
if(playerenters&&strequals(#a,Bortgg)){hidelocal}
(Bortgg was my first account) anyway, after that I went on and did much more, I learned a lot on my own, but I don't think I could have started if it had not been my friend giving me codes, with no explanations, and learning how the graal system works. So personally, I think the idea of no sharing scripts is bullcrap. Sure, maybe not the entire thing, but enough for them to learn from and create a great script on their own. The server my friend was making never got finished, I made Dark Rival by myself (w/ some help ). Point is, I'm a much better scripter than my 'teacher' was, and all he did was GIVE me a few scripts. Keep this long story in mind the next time you see a person asking for help. And if you have any questions, about anything graal, and no one wants to give you a script, or help, pm or e-mail me.

kinda, i made a hat system where you could buy a limited quantity from a shop, sell to other players, collect trade, etc. The only thing i am not sure on is how to make them appear in a circle, or line when you fire the weapon, for selection. So i just made a weapon for each one if i know how to do the scroll thing, i would be able to use flags for the hats, and use ony one weapon. See? I know
