Its a cool drawing I must say. Although I don't think Age is a factor or excuse for anything. Arguably it can be used as a "Less experience" type-o-deal but really it's all just skill. I like it

Which is why we said you were pushing it. That "ink" work is at a junior high grade level. It doesn't show any understanding of anatomy, beauty, shade, or perspective (perspective being closely linked to shade, ofcourse). I would say that I would expect as much from a art student in college, and fail to find it in your art. Don't get me wrong, for someone who is presumably young the piece is nice... but it's no Last Supper.

Eee, I completely agree with you but using the analogy of The Last Supper and that drawing is kind of like, I don't even know, overreaching. The Last Supper is art at its finest, this is just a drawing.

For it's time it was it's finest. What I like about "The Last Supper" is Da Vinci's incorporation of religious symbolism which can easily be overlooked by those who aren't looking

Like how the person at Jesus's left is really a woman, presumably Mary Magdaline. Also their two bodies connect to make kind of a V shape, which is one simple for the chalice, which really is meant to stand ofr woman. Also there's a guy kinda of lsashing at her throat with her throat, and it you notice, the same guy is holding a dagger.

;p

Alot of his art showed symbolism of that nature, revolving around mary magdaline and the holy feminine.

Or so the story goes, but Da Vinci limited the manly features and the womanly ones to.

Well, if you isolate Jesus and the womanly figure, yes they form a V which is an ancient sign for women, while a ^ is a sign for men.

If you look at the Mary figure and Jesus, you will see their clothing's color is inverted for one another.

Yea, that's Peter who is (in ancient texts) jealous of Mary because Jesus entrusted her with his faith to continue preacher after he was killed, and not Peter. But the dagger is arguabley held by a foreign hand which. Not Peter's, or Mary (though one could make the mistake, if you look at Mary's position you will see it's not likely she's holding the knife )

Yeap, Da Vinci believed that Jesus wasn't the son of God, but a very respected leader who changed the lifestyles and inspired men to be better people. He also believed that Mary was the proof that the Bible (as we know it) was fabricated with a political agenda in mind by Constatine.

Ofcourse, the Holy Grail, considered as a blood line of Christ, if proven would show that Jesus was a earthly man, etc, etc.

The thumbnail looks amazing. But then when I opened it up I was
like... ugh. This is probably really hypocritical for me to say, but I
really don't understand what the **** is going on in this image.

Ps. Dan Brown is overrated.

I agree. I can see the arm/hand/face, but what is the rest? It doesn't seem to make up a solid shape..very confusing to understand if you have never seen the character before, I guess.
