Getting maps to download?
Well I've noticed for like parts of g2k1 the map autiomatically downloads and on NP2 it did too,but the question is how?I know just show the image but most servers try that and it doesn't work and I still see balckness instead of a map

I think they save as like gif and you see them in the world then then you have the image so it sets as tha and blah blah blah.

The reason they download is because stefan has to physically add them to a .txt or something like the name of the .png or .gif and the name of map .txt and the x and y postions when your not on a map level. Then he makes the map download online but you cant see it then it should show up...THATS how I think he does it lol.

Yes make npcs with the map and the txt as
image (when loading it it will see that it is a txt not
a gif/png but it already has downloaded it so next
time you call setmap it will work)

Only works with images smaller than 64 k though

so say my map image was called 'daventrymap.png' I make an NPC with that image and then I make inside it say setmap daventrymap.png,daventrymap.txt,x,y; ?
