bug or hack!

I just went to bless a weapon and noticed my marksmanship gloves +12 were missing... I have checked all of my inventory and my house multiple times.
Either a bug took them or someone hacked my account... I would like the logs checked to see where my gloves went.

A plenty of people knew i had them, like nayoko... she made the gloves and ea'd them to +12 for me.

Sometime between august 10, 2004 to august 24, 2004 blood saber of govannon+7 prepped 2/10 and dagger of bile+8 prepped 6/6 wound up missing from my inventory after a server crash, forum PMed lance twice about this with no response as of today.


Can anyone check logs to see what has happened to those much valued weapons or is it not that easy to do?



Not sure how hard he actually attempted to locate those weapons either unless he can tell me now.

I didn't know calani checked, but when chris checked he told me to talk to jagen or stefan to have one of them restore me.
It just puzzles me how i had the gloves when i went to bed, then when i log back on i don't have them in my inventory, any containers, or anywhere in my house.

This game seems to have some serious problems and instead of fixing the problems they let them go and ignore people when they lose items cause of it.

You idiot, that kind of stuff really happens. There ARE these kinds of nerds that sit at their computer, send a remote trojan to your computer, then take it over. Or on a lesser account, they send a keylogger and get your online game passwords and mess them up just to annoy you because they ahve no life and feel others should suffer for it. So ****!

You didn't get what he said...

He said noone in their right mind would go through the hassle to hack an account, go on it, and take some worthless gloves. If he was hacked then more than likely he would've lost all of his items and possibly been reset.

I never said i was hacked... open your eyes and shut your mouths for once... quite a few people have been randomly losing items on GK.

Now it's obvious staff are not going to do anything about this which only brings up the question, why should we have to pay for a game that works on the same level as the brain of a 3 year old reatard?

Instead of always trying to add new stuff perhaps problems should be fixed, like these items that vanish for no reason.

Call me a liar if you want to, or anyone else that "claims" they lost something.

But Nayoko can tell you herself that i had those gloves cause she made them for me, so can Alan Steele, Alisa Steele, and quite a few other people... and now I DO NOT HAVE THEM!

And don't even give me that crap that i got rid of them on purpose, why would i work so hard to get them then just get rid of them?
So I can complain about it and try to get a free pair? I think NOT, I lost them to a bug in the game and I just want them back!

Your problem seems to rely in Graal, try to stop using said application, this should solve your problem.

Ya I tried that once, I was gone for a long time but missed my friends so I came back with a new account and nickname that only my friends know.

It's not all about the game or gameplay, if it were i'd be playing EQ2 when it came out, lol.

What do you people consider evidence?
I mean obviously someone didn't hack my account or they prolly would have taken all my items and possibly reset me.
How can you have evidence when it comes to a bug in the game?

How's this... check the logs... all of them!
See that i never sold, traded, dropped, or whatever the gloves... check my account, see that i don't have them on in or in my house.

Then maybe you'll realize that GK does have some serious bugs that need to be fixed so people won't randomly lose items like this.

Now, what more evidence do you want cause there is no way to give anymore.

If you still want more then it's just a matter of "We don't care, you pay to play this game, but once we get the money we could care less."

What I find funny is that when something like this happens nobody cares, but if someone does something wrong the staff is all over them.
What kind of people run a game like that? A game where problems aren't taken care of unless the problem is the player.

But anyway... You might be telling the truth, Nalle might be telling the truth. But because of people before you whom have abused the system and made claims like this when they were lying... well it just ruined it for you.

Not to mention text from someone on Graal is hardly evidence. I mean I could get people to say I was the King of Zormite and they hacked it from me... but it just doesn't work that way.

And that's not directly stating that i was hacked, it's implying that there was the possibility.

Item loss can be caused by crashes... and last time I checked, crashes don't make logs.

Perhaps you can tell me what it logs? I'm sure staff can find out if you drop it, if you traded it away (Even if it was a hacker trading your gear will it still be logged?) or even if it was sold?


I'm sure you might find in logs that an item someone once had is just suddenly gone the very next day with no hint as to where it vanished, should that not be the biggest clue that something is wrong?

AKA I completely agree with the "stop saying you got hacked" opinion. Nobody in their right mind would 'hack' your computer to get into some dumb game account and steal a fake glove or shield or sword. What these people are doing, what you are calling 'hacking,' is often ignorance on your part. These keyloggers and trojans can't be run without your help. The entire reason a trojan is called a trojan is because someone gives it to you and you run it, therefore it is your fault you lose whatever you lost. It's happened to me before, when I was less educated about such things :P

In other words, smarten up about what people send you and what you run. Never run what people you don't know send you. If you must, always keep your virus scanner up to date and manually scan files you get from those people.

If it were 15 years ago, I'd agree with you, but trojans are becoming more advanced, and can jump to you from ANY online application if you don't have a firewall or antivirus. Many online applications don't have protections from this so trojans will just run over to someone else's computer, download a keylogger without you knowing, and before you know it, your passwords are everywhere. There are some people who would get rid of one item so idiots like you people would say "it must be your fault, it's impossible for anyone to do something like make 1 item go away". Trust me, my dad is has done computer engineering, computer programming, has been taught how to hack or do things like that, and he has told me about several ways these things can happen. open up your minds people, there are losers out there who will hack literally 1 item. Anyone who wishes to argue this hadbetter have signifigant evidence to disprove me because i know what I am talkign about more than most of you computerilliterate people.

I lost a master key in a simmilar way, i died in a map and then when i tried to get into the house i noticed that i didnt have the key, i know that when you die things like keys arent supposed to drop, but i had no money so maybe some bug took the key and destroyed it or something, i MIGHT have sold it by accident too to an NPC but im sure that i would have noticed, it might have been some other reason.
PS: Alot of people have PMed me telling me that their items randomly went missing... i think that somebody should look into the problem and find out what's going on.
