Though I wouldn'd mind being able to get to my favorit island easier... I think it should be 1mp los per (magic level here) minute(s).
Also, water currents would be fun... tides are also possible, as the waterheight is an editable variable... though that could get laggy (I've experimented with this a bit offline... its pretty fun)
