Magic Bullet dodgable by snails encased in concrete?

Well, just a thought, but wouldn't a spell called Magic Bullet fly rather fast, like the speed of a real bullet? The speed it flies now is ridiculous, considering the distance that sorcerers have to stand away to avoid dying while they charge. Plus, as I just found out, if someone wants to stop you from getting any experience at all, it's no problem for them to be slashing away at something and continue to dash in the way and cancel your magic before it reaches the target, which hurts them in no way considering I'm in peaceful mode. Basically, it's the case of somebody standing in the way and going "Nyaaah Nyaaah I'm in your waaaaay!!" Sorcerers need help...
