Is buying an apple for 20k legal?

Here is what happend.

I was simply selling SOME apples for 0 gralat. Then, I sold one for 20,000 without saying it would be 0g or saying it would be any amount of money. I had no banner saying ANY apple would be free or pay. I had NO banner at all. Anyways, I get this 20,000 that I had taken away! Alkaren, along with Loriel agree its a LEGAL SALE. So, why was 20,000 taken away from me?
