Lightbulb Idea

Would this be a good idea?

A playerworld that starts out with nothing but wilderness and outside levels, and people get an npc that can be used to build buildings, inside and out. First the person would pick a floor, then add walls, a roof, and a door, they could also add things like fences, patios, a second floor, and of course additional rooms. Once the frame of the house is done they can add furniturem stoves (there would be a way to cook food), couches, beds, tables, chairs, and anything else they can find. Players could submit new house styles and furniture which would then be uploaded and could be used to build cooler looking houses. There would be a day/night system that goes through the full rotation of backpals (from pics1.png-dusk8.png, including the sunset and sunrise ones), and visible weather, like snow that sticks to the ground or rain that makes puddles. There could also be wild animals to hunt and places to plow and make a farm.

If you think this is cool, stupid, possible, impossible, or anything else feel free to comment I won't argue.
