here's a suggestion. making mages a more respectable fighting choice by allowing them the simple courtesy of being able to cast in the middle of a heated fight.
if a melee player strikes another melee player while that person is striking they both land a hit doing damage. well why does a mages "strike" get interrupted?!
this being said if u were to take away that aspect. a melee player could just sit there and land a few big hits on a player while they are casting a longer spell. then the mage landing one large hit. how is that not fair?!
seriously. fix this gaming aspect. idk why poison or a melee strike needs to interrupt these spells.. not too mention these interruptions can cause a mage to freeze for up to several seconds allowing an almost certain and very easy kill for the other player.
even if u do something like. how it seems priests work. if u hit them before they're wands castime is over then the "cast" is cancelled. which makes more sense than the spell being cancelled by a weapon or player being poisoned (which poison shouldn't do in the first place) . if u notice. once their wands finish a cast time and u hit them the spell still casts after it's normal casting duration. i suggest this be applied to the casting system, make the point of giving wands a cast time actually useful?
