New LCD monitor

So I got a new LCD monitor for Christmas. It looks great when it's in its native resolution: 1280x1024. BUT... when playing Graal, for example, and I go to fullscreen. If I have the resolution at 1024x768, it'll have diagonal waves going through everything. This is really annoying because my computer can't handle Graal running in fullscreen 1280x1024. If I lower the resolution to under 1024x768, there's no waves, but everything is REALLY blurry. Either way, it doesn't seem like I'm able to run fullscreen apps right, including Graal. This is my first LCD, so any help here from those that have them? |
