Improvement Thread - Part Deux
|
While technically an improvement is any change for the better, regardless of the situation, it seems that in online games improvement means taking something that already works and make it better.
On the other hand, taking something that doesn't work and fixing it is called fixing a bug. Taking something else that does work but not as well as it should and improving it is more "making it suck less."
I have been told by several people (some of them were actually intelligent, imagine that), that most the 'improvements' that people constantly talk about doing including the ones I wanted to do last time around were ineffective, unappreciated, and usually impossible because this isn't Graal V12 yet.
So this thread is not so much of an idea of new flashy things to be made. This is not things to be added, created, or otherwise improved for the hell of it. This is "stopping things from sucking." For example. That lake left of the mountain on Zormite. Is it necessary to be right there? The terrain there is a few degrees away from being a cliff. Shouldn't that be smoothed out a little?
Note: This thread is not open to non-Zormites. If you were a member of Zormite in the -recent- past, you may still post. If you are not a member or recent member, I am not going to listen to you on this thread. |
