Stone Henge 2007

Hello, everyone.

Almost a year ago in July, the server Stone Henge was opened and started by two individuals over the course of a 10-page-long thread, a conversation through forum PMs, and conversation over AIM. The 3 individuals who brought about the birth of this server were *Sam, Lance Leone, and myself. In the span of one month the tileset as well as a majority of the rest of the server, excluding levels, was completed. I learned things and such, then things started going downhill. Lance sort of drifted off, and so did Sam. As well as a few other staff members leaving only three. I gave up the position of manager to Drastic Vendetta and he soon quit the server.

The server was lost after a bit, and KuJi had the last known backup of it (Have to talk to Stefan and see if there's an updated one). Zoom forward, He gives it to me about a week or so ago. Could've been a bit longer. I make the decision to restart Stone Henge.

Zoom forward some more and we're here, the informational thread for Stone Henge of 2007, same graphics of the past, same old ideas + more.

New staff team (I miss all you old guys :[)!

Now for the information ----->

Stone Henge is a server based in and around the Stone Age period of the world. It's a little if only tried once (counting this time ) server design. It's pretty fluid, looks great and will eventually be pretty fun to play.

Here's A Few Ideas:

Mounts:

There will be mounts to be ridden into battle (which will be an integral part of gameplay), the mounts will be living, breathing things (game wise). They will be killable and they will get tired (another hint at gameplay unseen ). This will also give another focus on team gameplay to those on the opposite end of the destructive power of these mounts.

Balanced Skill System:

Not to give out too much but the skill system will be balanced in a way, like your skills in one area of something may hinder your skills in another area.

E.G. Being a skilled hunter will make it difficult for you to be a potter.

Erect Lodgings:

Part of the more survival aspect of things on Stone Henge, where in which you can erect lodgings to protect yourself from the harsh environments and to have a place to sleep at night (Not quite literally).

Environmental Effects:

The environment will also have adverse effects on the player's current condition. I don't want to go too deep in how this will play out, just think, if you've got too many clothes on, watch the player's body temperature. ;[ Just to give you a bit of an idea there.

Here're a few older screenshots:

We aren' desperately in need of staff but we do need some level makers for the time being as our levels are a bit on the low side.
