MySQL 5.0

Hi.
Im trying to install MySQL 5.0 for the first time. I downloaded the package containing all contents needed for MySQL to work, but when i attempt to extract it to a folder in which i select, it's not extracted, but it pretty much just copies itself to the destination folder. Now that i look at it, the extension appears to be ".msi". I've tried WinZIP,RAR, and PowerArchiver, but no luck.
Does anyone know a program that can extract a package with that extension, or the correct way to go about this incase im doing this incorrectly? |
