Problems Detecting Number String?

I've tried this.

NPC Code:

if (client.cxammo > 0) { }

and

NPC Code:

if (client.cxammo > "0") { }

but neither work. How do I get it so it'll read it as a number? Since like that it doesn't seem to be doing it.
