Helping New Players

This is a suggestion which goes out to those players on GK who have become financially comfortable as a player, and are also knowledgeable. If you're not capable of acquiring whatever you desire with ease then this is probably not a good suggestion for you.

Basically, what I'm asking the older players to do is adopt a new player or two. It's really quite simple, and you may find it satisfying - I know I have. I would start by finding a newb and telling them they can ask you any questions they have - if you find they're superbly annoying... ignore them! If you find they're mature, and that you're comfortable helping them further then start to slowly walk them through specific processes and going as far as to purchase supplies and materials for them.

Those of you who know me probably know that I have slight misanthropy. You should take your personal characteristics into consideration when you decide to help a new player, as you may give them a bad experience and they may very well leave the server/game - which would potentially be a waste of their time, and a loss in revinue for Graal Online... not to mention it would damage the online community.

Once you've found a player which you don't mind supporting you shouldn't just dump everything they need on them immediately. Look at where you're at, and consider why the game isn't as fun as it was when you were new - it's because all of your immediate wants can be fulfilled. Basically, you will have a good chance of ruining their fun if you just hand them whatever they need - besides, they won't learn anything (another fun aspect of GK).

Oh, and for the sake of the community - make sure you don't turn them into scamming jerks. And a final consideration may be their account status - a trial won't get much out of this sort of help, as they will likely never seriously play GK, and won't be able to keep any of the items you loan/give them.
