To jkool, the muramasa and plasmasabre need to get close to hit so I dont really see why you'd call them lame, if used in Iricia inside the bases to kill anyone who enters its stradegy, as are the mines, the grenades I agree should be changed a little, grenades are suposed to explode after some time pases, not instantly, although this IS the future, I dont thinkt he army would aprove of touch sensitive grenades, ever, the event weapons should be limited, Its too good to have fast classes with melee weapons(Comando with Reapers), or medics with Riffles, though I've never seen the lavagun in action..

to Touya, I keep the damage low because remember that you can aim it with the mouse and the explosions are larger than regular grenades, though I guess it could be upped to 20? I'll edit now..
