Players disappearing on GMAP/Levels

On any level in the gmap or a regular, single level, if you aren't within like 1 tile of a player, they disappear. This used to not happen, so I don't know why it's doing that.

I've searched and didn't see it (probably missed it somewhere). What can cause this to happen? It's a gmap that worked fine before, so it shouldn't be set up wrong or anything unless something recently has changed in graal.
