Theme related Gangs -- What's your thoughts?

Themes have been a reoccurring discussion when it comes to 'gangs' and what we want to do with them. In my mind, this can be succeeded but we need to execute it properly -- we need to execute it in a way that is fair for everyone.

Having multiple gang islands, each with it's own distinctive and unique theme is the bulls-eye that I'm trying to hit. Instead of sticking to the traditional "one base" system, we're trying to revolutionize it into an entire community -- one that has various buildings, structures, and landscapes that are far different from any other gang. Having multiple gang-guns, and *possibly* gang-vehicles would add to the diversity of each gang, making it more exciting, and making raids more exciting for that matter. In my mind, this would improve the overall idea of what a gang is, and how fun they can be.
