Weird Script

Is there anyway to make a meter that measures what you want it to? Say for isntance (not what i need it for) umm fairy catching or flower picking. How would I make a bar that showed how many flowers they had? And if they came back with 10 LBS of flowers they got 500 gralat? Would this be really hard? Im not sure how to do it so I was wondering if anyone else know?
