House Outsides

I have just recently had the outside of my house turned plain, the fences and stuff were destroyed...

I say the only people that should be able to destroy fences would be royalty of the kingdom your house is on (To sorta make sure nobody is making a huge mess), or anyone on an opposing kingdom if your at war...

I also would like to be able to attach a sign to my house, like, place one in front of it (could be part of the fortification pieces), or have a sign above the door; to put a message, like on towns, where you have one line of text....

Just a couple thoughts... nobody can have anything nice anymore, without having it destroyed by a mean person, and you can't seek vengeance, you have no idea who did it, lol -_-

The fence-killing is mainly due to earth to dust being way to strong - cleaning every fortification from a level. It should be hanged to some projectile capable of taking down one fortification...
As for signs, the best way would be either a special right or using an existing one to give high-ranking members of kingdoms the ability to add signs of sorts. Small ones, with a short line of text, maybe...

Blah, need to just remove fences from fortification, and make them just... like the ones that aren't made from putnpc2, that are there for towns... except can be removed by those with the rights, and you cant place too many fences near eachother (to make sure you dont like, make a giant wall blocking any movement), and to make them only near your own house... planting a garden near your house would be nice also, or other house add-ons would be nice, (like more rooms, or a closet/bathroom, oOo)heh...

I think what would be cool, and this would fit in with fort building, is that you could build a big wall across your kingdom, separating it from ....another part of your kingdom (o_O) to keep out the mongol hordes! XD

But yes, earth to dust is just ridiculous. the only one able to destroy your fortifications is you. Why they didnt implement this in the first place is beyond me, but hey, so is the fact they removed alch armour spells but didnt remove already existing armour

And now it's too late to remove it, since it's now worth absurd amounts. :o

stone=earth item
dirt=earth item
iron=earth item

so technically E2D whould destroy your house and make all the ground below it and in its radius dust...

E2D is way too powerful... and it makes no sence whatsoever!
E2D should be hacked down to pieces unti it is nomore..
E2D supports communism
E2D caused 9-11
E2D got George W. Bush into office

It can be made so that only people with the kingdoms H right or the house owner can destroy it.

People would probably place them everywhere, in front of doors, in or around a nice fence, etc just to piss other people off. The best thing would be to disable earth to dust on them completely, and have anyone with H rights be able to pick them up. That way if you mess up your fence you don't have to destroy 2-20 other pieces, and they can still be removed if need be.

Either that, or allow people with H to solidify fences after a house owner placed them - which should only be possible in a square with 3 times the house's length and width at max.

I would like to have my fences made to last forever... I had a huge yard, a place set out with a garden, and a place for my pets... then one day I came home and everything was gone .

The Horn Estade had a small yard, and it has been vaped one day, too. The point is, large gardens are not a problem, if everything is kept in a way not to annoy others, and no gardens are allowed in the middle of towns etc. I think if it was linked to a kingdom-right it'd work.

It would be nice if the player was a assigned a small piece of property, where only the owner of the property, or a high kingdom official can alter it, and other houses can't be built within that area, ofcourse not a large area, but.. a decent one.

Yes, that would do - maybe have a fixed price for the land, to "upgrade" your garden, and prices should be set accordingly - say 50 diamonds for the largest one, which will then go to the treasury in form of plats. If the player's house is outside a city, he would be able to buy garden-tokens, which H-people could transform into land belonging to the player. Earth-to-dust wouldn't work except the player casted it, for example.

Not at all - how would you like all your belongings, pets etc destroyed just because someone decided to attack your house? Maybe even while you were offline? No, leave houses alone, and add a proper system for fences - using the H-right would be best, I think, and maybe, if a war-system was implemented, make it so that fences can be destroyed if the kingdom is at war.
