A "?" question

Question:

how is the function "?" used, and what is it used for?

i know its something like "a ? a : b" but i still dont understand what to use it for
someone please help

I noticed Stefan uses them alot when setting the dir for the bomys. I personally have never used them other than testing how it works.

In many languages, "a ? b : c;" functions faster than
if (a) {b;} else {c;} because of processor-specific compiling, even in byte code languages like Java.

Does this hold true in GraalScript?

Actually Stefan scripted the bomy. Atleast as far as I know he did. His name is at top of the script on 2k1.....

kyle scripted the classic version, showimg and stuff, and Stefan made the 2k1 one. I do not believe there is any of kyle's code in that one.
