Why won't this work!

Okay, I had a similar problem with the level editor, images wont show in the editor. But now, images wont show in the Graal Shop either, such as sprites. FowlPlay4, if you have another package, like the Graal Editor but for Graal Shop please post it here. HELP!!!

I always upload the image to a server and display it using showimg or a blank npc. The image probably needs to be 8-bit and 256 Colors as well.

Then I usually have no problem using it in GraalShop.

have you tried reinstalling graal to a new folder and then re-installing the dev tools?

Okay, Got some questions.

1. Where do you store your images for gani use?
2. Do your gani images/spritesheets use only 8-bit 256 colors or is there truecolors (higher than 8-bit 256 colors) ?
3. Any alpha changes? (Is it see-through?)
4. Image formats? (.png/.gif) ?
5. Computer Specifications? (Operating System, Graphics Card, etc.)

I always save the image to a folder first, then save the GANI to the folder, then quit GraalShop and reopen the GANI I saved. Images then tend to work.

Keep in mind it probably does need to be an 8-bit PNG or GIF.

I thought we talked about this once with the ganis. Either way this hopefully will be more helpful!

Test your things online, use them online to see them.
Offline mode basically sucks, but it seems you need to save things as a GIF.
Even then it doesn't always work for me..

i've tried saving as a PNG-8, PNG-24, GIF, and usually the only GIFs that work are under "Save for Web & Devices" and I doubt Paint or such programs have that option.

For ganis, you will either have to make it a GIF for the test version, and upload the real version online, or do it online.

This means for LAT just create levels online, need to put an npc up just take it back offline stick it in its spot and bring it back online.

If you are working with Ganis, edit the gani placement via Textfile.

You should see something like this.

1. Never use Save As only use save. Change the name out of the textfile.
2. Keep it arranged the same alignment or it won't work. I need to test that a little more.

If it is four directions you will see four in each group, if it is only one direction you will only see one each; I posted a group of four.

Just because you can't see them offline doesn't mean they won't work online.
