I don't know much about 3ds, but I know with Blender you can make/download some really great materials, including cel-shading.

I'm using Blender tho, but most of people tell me other programs like Maya are better. Might try it out.

Well, for that kind of stuff you can use paint.NET too. Same functions, unlimited undo/redo, easier to use.

It's not horrible at all it just takes a lot of getting used to. A LOT of getting used to. Once you -are- used to it though, trust me, it's the most productive interface you've ever seen in all of existence.

Just felt like doodling, and liked the idea of high snow(hmm, now that I think about it, my original idea had the snow half the height... dunno why I made it so tall!). Doesn't tile or anything.

I like the half sized version, would be great if a server incorperates deep snow and its effect on movement, or different types of terrain and it's effects (deep snow slows you down, ice makes you slide, quick sand makes you sink/slows you down, etc)

Don't think it will be released as a tileset. It wasn't really created with a tileset in mind, just a doodle. And like Luda said, very square.

Well it's actually supposed to be a demake, which is making a 3D game 2D.

looking cute, dont aa the blade itself too much so it looks more like a rd render, in fact, i would also preplace the outline on the handle with red tones (generally involve more red as darker tone) and give the lighter part of the outline a lighter neighbor color (sort of selout)
