You've got a very nice style. Sort of reminds me of art nouveau with all of the flowing shapes. Keep developing yourself

random abstract drawing that was done in about 15 minutes.

skywide.net is part of the composition. The website isn't worth looking at really, lol. I need to make a nice design for it at some point.

Well my catch phrase (or whatever you call it) for Skywide Design, is "Reach for the Sky".. So in this piece I tried to convey a sense of growing upwards, and expanding out. It was my intention that the viewer's eye would follow the red plant-like upwards, and then look towards the white and continue following that over to the right. Oh, also there is the change from black to white, which is an obvious metaphor.

On a side note, it's exam time! lol I just drew this 5 minutes ago

I'm not sure why everyone has to put a "i did this in 4 minutes and 15.75 seconds!!!!" clause on every piece of artwork. Especially this sort of thing. This stuff is about creativity, not effortlessness. I'd rather hear that you spent an hour really working the piece rather than someone half-bragging about their speed.

On the actual artwork, very very cool stuff. I like the website abstract alot.

Good point. I guess I said it because I spent a lot longer on some of the previous stuff I posted on here, and you can see a difference in quality. Or at least I can. -> http://forums.graal2001.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=70371

It's not about them bragging for speed, or at least, not all about it.

They're using it as a sort of shield to use as a weapon if anyone belittles their artwork. If they create something and say they did it in 5 minutes, then they'll be able to stress the fact that it only took them 5 minutes so as to dismiss most negative comments.

It's insecurity, unless of course it was a timed piece.
