My Farmers Hat Dissapeared

The same thing happened to my broad sword, I was fishing and it was suddenly uin equiped and dissapeared!!!!!!!!!!!!!SOMONE HELP ME I WORKED VERY HARD TO GET ONE AND THEY MIGHT NOT HAVE 1 NEXT CRISTMASS!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it a farming hat your speaking of, or a cowboy hat? Because the farming hat is an event coin item...it was not attainable through the christmas quest.

I thought farming hat was one of the ones that can be made in the event coin shop place? Perhaps I'm just thinking that because its sort of like the mining and fishing hats that can be made there...
