My Ideas for Playerworld

I don't have the funds to buy a playerworld and I probably never will, but zero might get one someday and uhhh I dunno.. we would work on stuff. My ideas are great, but I can't script, so I talk to my friend zero.

Here's some ideas in chatlog form. x_X

Actually its more like a brainstorm, where I just ramble on and on about ideas until people eventually get tired of it and run away.

I can take care of the graphics and tileset, levels and music and ganis.. zero would probably work as head scripter. It would probably just be us two working on the project, with no other staffs and no GPs or faqs... but we might have an event team, probably under the tag of "Jester" because they are there to entertain people, and uhhh, yeah... that would be cool. It wouldn't be unrealistic events either, it would be stuff like Monster Hunting to see who can kill the most monsters in 2 minutes. (Hey, just be happy I didn't say pot race)

I'm hoping that if I can make an impressive enough presentation, someone might be the founder of the playerworld, or maybe even administration allowing us to work on this project for GraalOnline to be in the gold tab.. It will have all the bells and whistles of a professional "adventure game" and more.

boostrader: the other people have to hang out inside the ship

boostrader: the way I imagine the ship is having a loading opening, sort of like a space ship with martians, except that it would be a wooden airship
boostrader: but anyway the people walk into the loading hole
boostrader: and the ship owner should have the ability to open or close the door
boostrader: and the ship would actually lift off of the ground and become slightly bigger (since it would be closer to your camera angle view thingy)
boostrader: Hey zero.. is there a way to make the NORMAL graal characters, like 1/4 of their normal size? without making new graphics
boostrader: isnt there like, a change-character-zoom script? XD

boostrader: dang and not all people would enable lights, eh
boostrader: well we can worry about that later, cook it up for mah XD
boostrader: little fighting people who can walk on the overworld
boostrader: and monsters would walk around and you could fight them

boostrader: and there would be the uber boss who would give like 5,000 EXP and he would be uber hard to beat
boostrader: you would need 1,000 exp to level up each level
boostrader: and you would have to kill like 50 monsters or something
boostrader: the uber boss would take you up 5 levels, but it would be very hard
boostrader: I imagine a level limit of like 100, but also weapon upgrades and stuff so you can actually be strong and use strong equiptment
boostrader: or maybe just have weapons you have to buy, that would be better
boostrader: but they cost more, the stronger they get
boostrader: so you can get a job fighting and killing monsters in an arena, or storyline-type encounters where you have to kill all the monsters in someone's house, and they would pay you out of happiness cause you killed the monsters

You really shouldn't post all your ideas here before you even make them happen. I hope you don't think this is some sort of proof that you came up with the idea first either.

I agree with that. Someone could see your ideas, and they are not in the making as of now. So they make them. And there is nothing that you can do.

I'm sure most ideas were thought up of years ago, before Graal ever hosted playerworlds. Anybody who cries because they think they were first person to come up with something because their pw was the first to have it usually has no right to do so.

That's actually an interesting idea. Like, everybody has to work together in a single ship? Hmm. That's one case where a lot of players could actually be bad for a server.

Here's an idea, instead or trying to create your own playerworld why not have your ideas added to an existing playerworld!


Too many under construction PW and a few that ARE up but suck is just making graal worthless now.

Uh hello, that's what I just posted... o_o And I don't think anyone on Graal will sink to the level of stealing ideas.... And incase they do, you all know I posted this thread before any playerworlds used the idea.

I would do the same. Find a PW that is in need of mager help. Get hired there, work out ur ideas and then upload. Then maybe......just maybe that PW will make it to "Hosted"
