Improving Graal heads

There are so many! We should organize them into groups.

we could do male/female

or

male/female/other
male/female/animal
male/female/animal/other

etc,etc, we just need some better way to organize them, by type.

instead of head1.gif, head2,gif it would be:

headm1.gif for male heads

headf2.gif for female heads, and on and on

or something like this system would work great!

ideas?

would take a huge amount of work
basically how it is now is you just remember the 1 or 2 heads you like and thats it
it works fine

If someone wants to compile a database of the 1000+ (constantly changing) heads on the server, it'd be a simple matter to sort by gender, hair color, type...

and then... you could set up a way to where you could type, for example

sethead male green

and it will randomly assign you a male head with green hair.

I think that would be a bit overboard. But I like the idea. It would definitely make things easier. Besides, you seperate them with "_" or "-". And it would be by gender or type like animal or other.

ok, I really like the idea of sorting out all the heads.
Perhaps heads could be built like body images in the future where we can easily edit colors, that way we wouldn't have to send in recolored images of heads constantly.
As for the organazation of heads...well thats up to the Graphics Administration to do that.

What really concerns me about heads in Graal is that waaay waaay to many of them are not Graal-like. There are heads that use only 3 colors total!!! I did a count today, and there are over 400 Graal heads that are totally not Graal related. And why are copywrited heads allowed online. I saw a Looney Toons head the other day. Then I saw a Trunks head, and a Mr.Satan head from DBZ.

there are copyrighted heads because graal has a policy of hire uneducated(in the media) newbies

there were like no copyrighted heads when galen had the job, but when zorro took over...
i even tried to help out by reporting heads to galen which he would delete immediatly without question, but there were just too many

Yeah the heads do not have a consistent theme. I think we should do a HUGE cleaning, remove everything that does not belong there.

If we're gonna go on a head delete-spree, cut it back down to the base 24 the game originally had. After that, build it up from there.

i dont think a company can sue on the account of one/a few images (except nintendo has full rights to sue)

The whole point of this matter is to remove all the bad looking head images and start out fresh with Graal-themed heads...

I don't get it. There is no such thing as a "Graal-related" head. Graal is defined by itself, not itself defined by Graal.

Now, maybe you could say the heads are not "Graal-like" because they don't have qualities one would expect of art for a game like Graal.

it is funny that Stefan wants to remove all copyrighted heads

The type of Graal head I visualize is the same as head0, but with different hair etc

i think graal head would just be 4 pixels big and it would look too blockish

Graal heads, heads head0.gif-head25.gif are good examples of Graal heads.
All these heads which were based off of other games or cartoons aren't usually Graal related. Take for instance head1000.gif, NOT Graal related.
