Zone-Shop Protest

Hey guys. This thread was built so we can leave our opinion about Zone Shops and the gelat system.

I fixed a Poll, thinking about adding Blue Rifle and Red Rifle in Zone Shops again, but purchase-able for 1month only. Altough, I don't want to re-add jetpack in shops. They still need that ''Paying players needs advantage''.

In my case, I have Perm. BR, and RR, but I still care about this. This would make the Zone's population grow up a little.
I'd also like to see gas grenades/Ammo belts(Packs of 15, etc) there again (1month before re-new of ANY item)

Anyways, your poll options are:

1- Yes, I want to see BR and RR in Zone Shops again!
2- Yes, but I'd like to see all the items that were in shops before! (Including Ammo belts[purchase-able for 1 month only, then you'll need to pay again])
3- I protest. Zone Shops are good right now.

I'd rather just see decent items in the Zone money shop. Maybe they could add some new weapons (On a circulating system) and those weapons would be changed out every month. They would be gelat items too, but they would also be in the zone money shop. That way if the management does not feel comfortable releasing weapons that are currently in the gelat shop, at least something new can be added for the zone money shop.

Not to rant, but I'd like to see some experience + zone money items.
This could be a combination of experience and money for a specific item in the shop. If they really wanted to take this idea farther they could add exerpeince + zone money + gelat items. Just throwing some ideas out there

Btw Dan already posted that he was gonna do an update to Zone Money, although he didnt post any details.... hopefully hes gonna work on it after bunker or idk.


and what i care more about something to add to Zone money shop is JETPACK!!! this is all i rlly rlly want from gelat shop...though adding rifles would be nice too...

Would be great, but I have my reason for trials having no access to zone money jetpack.

Why?
It would increase the number of people running while they get owned.

Someone recently brought up a decent point, I can't remember who, it might have been Rufus. Wouldn't it make more sense to have one form of membership?
Meaning should we have gelats and no gold membership, or gold membership and no gelats?

Perhaps we should have a gold membership which can be bought for gelats (A compromise) , and once membership is bought there could be only weapons that can be bought only if one is in the possesion of gold membership. There could still be gelat items, but there could be items that can be bought with gold access only. Once again, just throwing some ideas in for discussion.

Return to shop, only purchaseable by Gold players. I think that sounds extremely fair and reasonable.

The thing i liked about old zone was that you had to get a certain amount of cash to buy things, and this required getting kills. now you just ask 'mommy' to buy you something like that. thats welfare.

Zone should just remove their stupid Gelatshop, Or atleast ONLY have the weapons which are also being sold at the Trader. They should just put all weapons which u can buy in the Gelat shop in the Trader-shop, But for Goldplayers only? That would be alot better then this. Oh and, Trial's shouldnt be able to play without Observermode, And still have acces to everything. Now they dont have to buy gold anymore. The only thing u cant use is some classes/clothes. Oh ya and u cant recieve Event Prizes.

This is very true. From what I gather Stefan isn't giving the Zone scripters NC so Dan's basically a one man army in terms of scripting for Zonedev.

Agreed, except the prices should be higher. Three thousand Zone money for a bluerifle isn't going to happen again.

Well, I think trials should be able to buy ammo forever, but for weapons, it's just borrowing.

Let's say, for one week, they could buy BR for 500 Zone Cash
One month, 1200 Zone cash.
The forever option would be only available to gold members and would have the normal full price. Of course, an increase in the prices would have to happen, but what is all our cash for nowadays?

If you staffs don't agree, at least make ammo and throwables back in the zone shop, I highly doubt you make any money with those.

I'm trying to get old stuff back. In the old days only Zone Gold members were able to buy such weapons, because trials would need to play for several hours streight to obtain money for these items, only to have them removed when they logged. And thats what I'm sudgesting, these items return to the in-game shop, for Gold members only like the old days.

No, if you know anything about business (I'm not sure if you do, doesn't seem like it though...) you'd know, yes you do need to meet the customers needs, but you need to do so while making money. If you aren't making money you have to sacrifice a few things of the customers. And I wouldn't even say what graal is doing is "sacrifice" since they've provided more for the players with more updates this year then ever before.

The players. The only reason you did this is because the players complained, (You finally stepped in when it when on for weeks) just like you and most of the other people, They don't listen to the customers. Instead, they make ****ty staff feel good about themselves.

But at the same time, You don't want to lose your job right? Because everytime some staff disagree with something. They get fired. This is partly why mangement sucks. Staff can't speek their mind. They have to be robots and follow only one leader.

Jesse has made several attempts to speak with Dan and get things changed. He has gone out of his way numerous times to try and hound Daniel down and get him to listen to what he has to say.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to get Dan and Stefan to do ANYTHING? ANYTHING at all? They're always so busy doing other **** they don't have time to listen to us. It drives me UP A WALL but I put up with it and try and clean up after Dan's mistakes.
Jesse and I put a lot of time and effort into Zone but this is all we ever get out of it. Whiny little brats like you badtalking us for going that extra mile while you sit at home running your mouths.

This is why I hate the forums and never go on them. It's been ages since I've seen ANYTHING productive come out of them. It's all just a bunch of whiny 12 year olds going "I GET KILLED IT'S DAN'S FAULT THAT I CAN'T KILL SOMEONE". Or "I AM NOT HAVING FUN" but instead of actually doing something about it you just come online and **** and whine and moan and groan without making a SINGLE logical contribution.
