First Try.

Hey Guys, I have been leveling for a very long time on general styling and stuff but I have never tried a really detailed cliff level. So I thought I would try. I have tried to do something a little creative with the beach but Im not sure yet.

Please try not to bash on me too hard, I know it may not quite be up to par yet but it is still a WIP. I will hopefully post updates later.

Looking good, but don't put the deep water (dark blue) near the cliffs. Put regular water there instead. Deep water should be used sparingly. Also, Put a little detail in the water and the grass. Maybe a few trees here and there, paths, etc.

I dont think there are tiles for the cliffs that will make them blend.

Sorry for the double post but here is the update. I started to work on the tiling a little bit. Its a totally knew style for me. I have never tried grouping things. So please go easy again XD.

I also have a question about the trees. I have never known how to connect trees. Do people connect trees with npcs of treetops? Or do they manage to do it some other way?

The Update:

It looks good.
Except I find the beach thing a bit illogical.
It just makes some hourglass shape without any apparent reason

DutchGuy has a little shameless behaviour in the past
a level shouldnt be judged on how illogical it is or is not.its a game
its role play
its fantasy, heck if he wanted to create a empire state building on sand, let him, anything is possible on a 2d game.

nice levels, good work, good tiling, almost no errors(i bet u learned that from general tiling) just learn from the mistakes u made in previous levels, and make sure you not over do the water part.
