These would be REALLY useful OUTSIDE of Gui Controls. I mean it'd make a ton of things easier for folks Stefan. Do you think we could get these...PLEASE?

To append to this though, it would be nice to have a function that is called when ever a key is pressed no matter what control has focus (even text controls). You could easily then script it to which control types to ignore by finding the current object with focus and looking at the objecttype().
