Best program for animated gifs?

I'm not bothered if it costs or not, I'm just looking for a good program to make animated gif files with.

Suggestions?

I've not tried imageready, but it's probably better than animation shop. However, Corel is still going to rock Adobe hardcore when it comes to painting tools.

Something free you could use would be:
Unfreez

It's just basically a drag and drop interface, nothing all that fancy.

Paintshop Pro XI has that. (And has had that for some time now.) However, I rarely use that option because when I paint, I'd rather blend colors on one layer, considering that's what you'd have to do if you only had a canvas sitting in front of you.

There's a reason people use computers to paint rather than just paint in a traditional medium.

I know. The only time I really see a need to use layers is when I'm doing something that requires me to use transparencies. (Like when making dust blowing over something, snow or rain effects, making certain things have a negative filtration, or otherwise.)
