"dead" Items.

Are these "dead" items ever going to be brought back into the world? I mean items that nobody has anymore, like Ice Axe of Swiftness should be evented off.

I coined the term "dead items", you have to pay me a diamond every time you use it.

If they do event off these items that arn't active anymore they will be a huge up roar when someone wins somthing. People will question if they bribed the EM and such. And everyone who didn't win somthing will be moaing 24/7 on the forums how the event wasn't fair or somthing like that.
The same thing happened when they evented off the Great Leaf Shield.

God how true this is. I find people are too power hungry...no should say too greedy these days. I would love to get older items to event off but like you said there would be complaining and such. So lets leave it as is. If Sam decides to put a good item in any one of us events master bags we will be sure to event it off.

Look how long it took me to event off the Fire Shard Wand. Still complaints but seriously I don't care.

That's hogwash. Simply raffle them - or some other event which is entirely chance based.

Also, when were people *not* greedy?

My gosh! Thank you, finally somebody else thinks it would be best to raffle items. As Stephen said this makes it much more fair and therefore you won't get complaints, everyone likes the raffle because its easy and fun to play. This way would just make it much more fun to play instead of the hour long "RP events" where not many people can be bothered to play

The Administration (Sam) is under the opinion that the Raffle isn't a serious event since the players don't have to interact with anything.

I think that mostly everyone will agree the elegant simplicity of the system raffle employs is fairly amusing on it's own. One doesn't always need to be chasing down monsters and tearing their hearts out to have fun.

I say we circumvent Googi's copyrights and come up with a name that's public domain.

How about: "Temporarily Deceased Items"

Yeah, make it an event where there is no subjectivity to complain about would be my suggestion.

Or just make the EC Shop inventory larger so you can make more of these items.

Yes I agree with this. But currently there arent enough ECs around that people can use to make stuff, i've been trying to buy loads of ECs recently and have only managed to buy 2 when paying 30 dias for them, its crazy the EMs either need to start giving out many more ECs each or more EMs need to be appointed

hmmm, I can see why you don't want large value items to be raffled off (kind of). But I don't really understand why because this would be the most fair way as none of the EMs could be bias and everyone will be able to get involved with it

Wow you ppl seem to have a really weird image how just how many ec's we em's get. Let me put it this way. 10 events and I got rid of all ec's I have. Then what its back to this. And we don't need a ton of em's. It sickens me how greedy ppl have become. So what if there are new things in Coin Shop...don't mean u need it. They are gonna be there in 3 months.

No, no and no. I don't think you understand what everyone is talking about here You keep saying people are greedy, how is this? People aren't greedy, they just want to get better, isn't that the whole point of the game or is there something people aren't telling me?

How much are you on when I am hampy?? Not a lot. Ur probably on when the older more experienced players are. But when I am on there are a ton of greedy ppl. I mean scamming, overcharging, etc. When it comes to events if its not for a gold key, event coin or dias they complain "omg a level 4 map". Thats what I mean by greedy.

Ok well I can see that you want to host RP events, thats fine host an RP event, but please, please, please host other stuff too! Stuff that people who don't enjoy rp events will enjoy. It drives me crazy when people, especially EMs always complain about not having enough people to play their events, well have you ever thought it may be because they think you events suck? Nothing personal but I'm just saying it would be nice to have a different event for a change, they all seem to be very similar these days...

When I was EM I held a lot of raffles. This is partially because I am lazy, and because they are a lot less confusing for players. Players don't want to *learn* how to play an event, they want to *play* an event.

To make the event last longer I would tell jokes and just have some fun with the players. I still don't see why the Raffle is such a horrible option.

I'm not talking about the frequency of events, but raffle as an option for high-quality items.

Well tell you what I will discuss with sam about possibly having different items then what we normally get just for raffles. Normally we can take donations from ppl and event off our own extra stuff too.

Players really shouldn't have to raffle off their own stuff to make the events better.

Agreed but how else will u get good stuff? Do you want a list of what we get in the em bag? Its enough to spread out but not enough to hold a decent lottery with.

I don't see the harm in raffling off some rare or dead items once every two weeks or every month.

No there is no harm in it but I am lucky to get a rare or dead item once every 6 months.

A far cry the wild old days when I won a Phoenix Shield in a raffle held by staff (he-who-shall-not-be-named). I like it that we have more honest staff now, who care about making the game better and not abusing their power.

However, I agree that too few rare items are introduced. I'd be happy if staff held a monthly raffle to give away a good item (for example, one of those that can be made in the event islands shop for 20+ ECs). That's just my opinion, but I think it would generate excitement and give hope to the newer players that they could break into the big time by getting a good item. (I remember how hard it was to get my first good item).

While I agree your gonna have the older and more experienced people then try to scam the item from them or get it from them or they will outright complain that it was "fixed". I had to tell a new person not to sell the event coin they won at one of my events. I told them that they should collect it for the Coin Shop so they could make good items. More Experienced players can't stand new people having good items. They fear that their place on the food chain will dwindle.

I thought we were to try and entice new people into playing. All I see are things that are sold for 100-1200 dias these days. When ur a low level you can't clear out the haunted house over and over again to get diamonds and it would take you hours of mining to get even 100 dias. We more experienced need to leave them be. So what if they win a good prize. Let them decide if they gonna sell it or not. Don't jump on them like savages. We are trying to promote the game not show them how greedy we are.
