Pwa

I am curious as to how people feel about the PWA.

Do you feel they do their job?

Do you feel they have too much power? (To this question be fair. Because in the wrong hands any power can be bad.. but this question means.. with good staff, is the power they have okay?)

Do you feel anyone in particular is out of place? (PLEASE do not use this to flame.. just name names and a responsible reason)

I feel its neccesary for people to take responsibility for their actions, and I know a lot of times people get by with so many things just because they silence those who want to say anything.

So I just want to know.. in a MATURE fashion please.. what you think.

Poor. Very poor. With the exception of Malinko. Like him or not, at least he has tried.

I had to look on the Graal Bible to find the actual current list of PWA's. Here they are:

Houdiniman
GrowlZ
Bjorn
Malinko
--Chris--

What has happened as of recent by most of these PWA's? Houdini, GrowlZ, Bjorn, and --Chris-- aren't even very active on the forums. More can be done. Much more.

Those who said or just voted we do a bad job. It's ok if you think so but then you could also make some suggestions on things we could improve.

I do not mean things like " I made a support ticket about beeing banned on xyz but you didn't unban. You could unban me to do a better job.".

I think the main thing most are asking for (I'm really a third party observer here) is simply some more activity and faster response time. It just seems silly that a server that is paying good money for time on the servers has to wait months for a simple response from globals that should probably be more active then that.

Its not you or anyone else that I have a problem with. It is just that Malinko is still in a position to take advantage of servers. He barely had any rights when he abused them on Era and now he has even more. Adding to what Lyndzey provide I still do not see why he is around.

You can even check the logs we have on Era with all the proof of his activities. They've been uploaded there for months.

It seems to me that its pretty much impossible to make the classics tab...and its not because standards are too high or anything, its simply because you can wait months and months but the PWA will still not review your server...besides Malinko of course.

True Very True ...... I mean we pay 60-100dollars USD to have our playerworlds hosted ..and we have to wait and wait and wait to have our playerworld reviewed I know chicken and myself have been waiting for about 2 months now and the only person who has tested it is Malinko.... By time we even get a review if we ever do we will have to pay more money to get more server time ... I think its kind of unfair...anyone else?

The thing is, Graal Online expects us to treat them as professionals. No complaining publicly about the product, etc. However, they don't present themselves as professionals.

Growlz + Malinko; if I ever need anything they're always there to help.

Bjorn; He does a lot of work, he's very active within the Graal Community

Chris + Houdiniman; Dead?

Malinko is by far the most active, always been helpful when i needed him, i was banned on a server because something went wrong with my account, and i was accused of glitching the graal client 0_o.

I told malinko and he got it sorted right away ^_^

I think that Malinko and Bjorn do a good work. Others admins should be removed since they don't do anything. (according to what most of you guys says about their inactivity, I am not much active so I can't say by myself).

Just so anyone knows before I get involved in a witch hunt, my comments before were not off personal experience, but from talking to friends and reading accounts here.

No matter what the definition of what a PWA should and should not do, there is a field of improvement that can be accomplished.

HoudiniMan is a senior member of the Playerworld Administration, he has done a lot of work for GraalOnline.

GrowlZ is another senior member of the Playerworld Administration. He is quite active, not on the forums, but he does look at the forums quite often. He tends to post in threads with relevant information. He's not that active with inspections in the past few months, but he did not have Gold and/or VIP, so he can not be blamed for such a thing.

Bjoern is a good member of the Playerworld Administration. He knows how to compromise and get things done when it needs to be done. Keep in mind, he is learning English as it is, and getting quite good at it. In addition, he is the Manager of Graal Kingdoms, which occupies a lot of his time. If he's needed, contact him via forum private message or support center, he'll answer as soon as possible.

--Chris-- is a new member of the team just as me, but has been a former global staff known as the Global Graphics Team which seems to be abolished now. Though, he does tend to deal with the major graphic issues as he did with inspections of graphic content when he was the Global Graphic Team administration/staff.

Bravo: Ages of Ignis (playerworld90)
Dark Rival (playerworld13)
Dark Nations (playerworld58)
Endora (playerworld93)
Exodus (playerworld125)

These are a list of worlds which have applied for the Hosted tab within the last few weeks, months for some. I think Shangri-La in recent applied for an inspection to Hosted as well. There are also some requests for the Classic tab, but I'll keep that a secret.

Though, it's been weeks, and I've *****ed again and again in the private forums to have these inspections completed. Being a new member of the team, I even set up deadlines, which I don't have the right to do so, but I did it for GraalOnline. Hell, I've picked fights with a number of global staff, who hate me, but I don't care to be honest. Though in all respect, I have apologized to all of them, and wish to have a professioal relationship with them for the sake of GraalOnline.

Though, until all the requests of GraalOnline are completed dealing with the Playerworld Administration, I will keep the opinion that we are doing a BAD job until GraalOnline feels as the team is doing good.

Like me or not, I do the job I was told to do, so deal with it, and I will improve. For the record, this is MY OWN personal opinion about the team, so I'm not speaking for the Playerworld Administration. Though, all of them do a great job, just talk to them on a personal, private basis, and GraalOnline will see what can be done.

May I point out that you forgot Myrrodin, since it falls under that category. Just applied for an inspection last week.

I've read that before. If it's really true, then Malinko wold have lost his possition, yes? Malinko was there to help me out with my server, and inspected it for the hosted tab before some of the other pwas....of course, not all have, it takes a while.

Hmm, should I believe Lyndzey, one of the most trusted people on Graal or you, who would have been masked from the scripting forum had this been a year ago?

Tough choice

Tough choice
I think he was just offering up evidence for Malinko's character, not really taking a "you vs me" position against Lyndzey...

Believe me, we have tried to fire him after what he did. Ibonic attempted to remove him, but he was added back because I guess him being active makes up for him being extremely corrupt.

I am annoyed by Malinko trying to make it seem like everyone is out to get him. You brought this onto yourself Malinko, so stop trying to make it look like we hate you for no reason. I don't care if you are on for 16 hours a day, if you PM me "new ideas!" everytime I login, or if you put "<3" messages all over the support center. It doesn't change the fact that you severly broke the rules, and you refuse to admit it.

By the way, next time you make a massive apology, at least admit your past mistakes.

That was the other information I was told to not make public. But she did. Oh snap.

Why the hell would she provide false information? Got damn dude. Use your brain. Refer to my first post on the matter of the "higher ups" not doing anything about Malinko.

Is it fair to point out certain people's good and bad points?
It's basically 'bashing' the members of the pwa. If you didn't have an opinion on the PWA and answered the question, I wouldn't mind.

Shut up. We are allowed to discuss if we think they are doing a good job or not. It is allowed. It isn't against the rules. Go away. Now.

Malinko, yes indeed he as active but there is more than just activaty wich makes up a good PWA. (Not saying that he's not good)

Growlz, he is active on classic and sometimes appears on other servers. Just cause he doesn't spam the forums and shows his face on every server doesn't mean that he sits around all day scrating his scrotum.

--Chris--, well I haven't seen chris around much but he made some posts recently and i'm pretty sure he does enough. He has always been a "good" global that is rather helpfull and yes his workload might not be huge but atleast he is reliable.

Houdiniman, I'm pretty sure he spends 1 or 2 hours a day on graal. You shouldn't forget that there are also people awnsering all the horribly stupid support tickets that are send in. Every time that I send in a "Playerworld" catagorized ticket (10 in january or so) I got a responce from either Houdini or Malinko

Bjork, he's helpfull and he's done a good job on g2k2. I won't even defend him.. his preformance speaks on its own. (in my opinion the best pwa..)

I am the ONE that voted Great >.>, simply becuase I doubt there would be enough people on graal capable of doing the same things as they do. Graal is just a game and a globalposition shouldn't be treated like its equal to being the CEO of umm Shell.

As far as i'v seen every member of the global staff of graalonline "in action" or however you would like to call it, they'v preformed a good job and done alot.

I have to agree with the majority here, no one is bashing, we're pointing out that we think they're doing a bad job, which is not only allowed but should be encouraged. Unsatisfactory work is bound to continue if no one speaks their mind and tries to get things done.

I disagree, Snake.

All the members of the Playerworld Administration can take some input, whether bad or good, it shows what we can improve and who we work for.

All globals seem to be on a grapevine. Notify one, the others know. At least that's how it is for N-Pulse. I can usually contact at least one global staff member at any time and they notify others quite fast. We used to have little to no global communication but it has opened up recently. From a classic servers perspective, I think they do a pretty good job.

Hey the poll a private one, just vote, that will show what people really think. You don't have to say anything, and I don't plan too. I do find it supprising that 75% of people don't like the pwa. :|

GrowlZ and Björn are fine, Houdini should stop messing with Era's bans and Malinko should have been fired some months ago... No clue about --Chris--.

We dont need reasoning for why you voted a certain way or need to know how to feel towards certain PWA. I feel that you should just vote because it really doesnt matter what so and so did against you and the server you worked/played on.

This doesnt go for just the person about it goes for everyone. Atleast I think its a reasonable idea.
