Ban List?

Dont know if someone already posted it, but what about a banlist for RC2? So there is a button for the local banned Players? Or a command like /showbans or so which only can use Staffs with the right "Ban Players"
It would be usefull so you can see, who is banned on ur Server.
Some Servers forgets the Account of the Player, when they are banning them and in the reason is something in like "unban in 2 weeks" and one month later you are still banned :o Or an auto unban? Would be cool too.

yeah this feature (especially an auto un-ban) would really help. DR has a jail system with an auto unjail

It obviously wasn't you who scripted that.

Anyhow, the idea is actually pretty good. Era use[s]/[d] a word document for the banned players.

And how do you know that? And even if he didn't he said it was on DR, so why is your comment even needed?

Why is your comment needed here? You could've done a PM. But no, you'd rather started another fight in another thread, nice going.

You don't seem to read the NPC-Forum, you'll find the answer there. That's if you bother to look.

Having a working jail can be a punishment.

A Manager or whoever has ban rights should also keep a list of banned accounts as well.

actually, i made the script all on my own so (it even allows people to reduce jailtime by washing dishes, and soon, breaking rocks) anyways, it would also be for people with out the rights to be able to check and remind people with rights to unban htem. overall, though, the auto unban would be easier and quicker, and would make for a better banning system.

That jailing seems kind of odd. What if someone harassed someone else, I don't think their jail time should be reduced through performing several meaningless tasks. Refer to the Rules of Conduct and/or User Agreement for a reminder on violations.

Though, from what I know, Stefan is adding pre-defined ban reasons as well as timed bannings. (Yesterday)

Look at the American legal system
anyway, it won't reduce it by too much, and jail times are made longer because of the option to decrease time for example, a 24 hour jail time is 24 hours of play, not a day, so they have to do a bit to get things like that off. The tasks are repetitive and boring, but it's better than standing still for that long

Being able to modify bans with a script command would be even better

Exactly why we need documentation.

Documentation should come when the system is complete. Midway documentation usually leads to mass-confusion among the people who are reading it.

I banned account list would be very helpfull, also lists of accounts with comments and ban info that aren't blank.
It would be possible if we had access to the server's accounts folder, you would be able to parse the files with GS2.

And yes, putting banned account names in a text file is a good idea, that has been said many times before but still becomes tedious and people eventually forget about it.

5. Chat and Forum
Discussion through onscreen chat, GraalOnline chat, and discussion forums is a part of the game. GraalOnline must not be used, however, to promote competing products or services. Individuals who actively promote other competing products or services within GraalOnline, may be locked out.

Another abuse of chat and forum privileges is when players use abusive language (cursing or threatening language), racial attacks or comments, or sexually explicit comments, either general or specific, when communicating to individual players, in the content of mass messages via the GraalOnline chat system, or via the discussion boards.

The GraalOnline Communications Forum (Message Boards) is used to discuss GraalOnline related content, gameplay, ideas, experiences. Constructive complaints and other healthy criticism that points out ways the game can be improved are welcome. Flame wars, personal attacks on players, and any unfounded criticisms will be removed. Abuses such as these will lead to players being banned from the Communications Forum. GraalOnline staff may lock out such abusive players.

Players may not promote anything sexually explicit, implications of racism, or vulgar online. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing URLs with others to websites that contain profanity, nudity, or anything else that violates the GraalOnline Rules of Conduct.

Players promoting content that is subversive to gameplay, promotes cheating, or any other hacking activities risk immediate ban. GraalOnline will have no tolerance for such activities.
Don't compare things to do with other countries, some people have complained as he/she were offended by that.

okay, sorry about that...
certain un named legal systems allow a release for good behavior, or plans for what they will do after their release, i was stating the fact that this kinda works like that, however large offences cannot have their time reduced (especially things like harassment, large scale hacking, etc.)

GS2 and Graal v4 were released to servers, I consider that complete.
If we can use it then its complete enough for documentation :P

What would be really useful is a way to modify what is done when someone does an RC/NC command.

If you could make it so when someone modifies ban, you can check if the 'banned' box is checked and then savelog2 the information.. so it can be saved and logged properly.
this would also be useful for several other commands, ie: reset account (for same reasons)
