Dead?

I've not been on GK much, but from the Forums it looks as though GK is dieing.
What's currently happening? Any wars? Any events? Anything to look forward too? Anything at all?
Most of you will bash this, but ask yourself 'Where is GK?'
I've checked the kingdom forums, 2 are active. Bel'la O' and Pirates, anychange in the leadership of Bel'la O'?
Quite a few questions, I'll make it easier for you.
What's currently happening?
Any wars?
Any events?
Anything to look forward too?
Anything at all?
Anychange in the leadership of Bel'la O'?

Thanks

It's partially correct that GK is boring sometimes. I know that the EM's are doing small events mostly every day.
Ed got some days ago a rare item for a bigger event he will host ( I was astonished he didn't mention it).
I am waiting for a new kind of monsters which will give us fun, but it seems it needs more time for scripting as developers have at the moment.

Some things that have decide needs Stefan but he didn't do it and so we have to be patient till he have time to decide these things.

But at last it's your job as player to make enjoy yourself!
Staff can only give you the tools you have to craft the fun!

And there are lot of things fit for fun.

There's only one solution:

Reset.

cheers.

That's crap in my opinion. There are always more than one solution. Maybe the staff have to be renewed. I don't cling to my job and will quit it if people want it.

1) Things are in the planning phase and hopefully going to be realized soon. (Day/Night System & Weathereffects, new events, change of start-island, ..)
2) Maybe one is coming up soon, other ones later. (It releats to #)
3) Yes. Release of a new one will hopefully be very soon. I think when v2 is disabled and you can only use v4.
4) I'd say yes. Just look at #2, #3, #6.
5) I'd say this is included to #4.
6) Quite possible that it changes. But don't. ask me for an exact date. There is a good new leader needed. - And no, there are no elections.

Did you ever check what is going on on Debug? Or did you even ask someone with access? Well, some high staff? - I don't think so.

Yay. Do you really think that a Day/Night System, weathereffects, new events and a new start island will make more players play Graal Kingdoms?
You must be kidding.

Awesome, do we have to wait for another year? Ridiculous if you ask me, just look at the stuff Debaglio has done. It's time.

It's sad that you people are not able to make constructive posts. You complain that GK is dead, but you don't help with good ideas or with helpful criticism.
I am sure that it's possible to get that from the most of you too.

We've tried, the RP team have tried. We asked for the message system to be improved, but it wasn't. If the staff take our suggestions seriously, I think we'll take GK seriously.

It's sometimes like christmas: you have plenty wishes, but not all came true. Our Santa Stefan has a lot duties beside GK. And also not all wishes will be realized. The RP team got a chance but it failed. There are several reasons cause that, not only missing support by staff.
I see that almost all kingdoms are dead except CP. And why not CP? Because the leader Alan is active and motivates his members.

I agree. GK needs more active developers. Who're the development staff for GK?
I don't mean new items, I mean new levels, new events, new islands, new quests. I'm sure the GST can help if you ask, isn't that what they're there for? correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree, CP is the most active kingdom. I only see myself on the Bel'la O' tag. I see my wife on her Dustari tag. I don't see anyone else though. The RP team shouldn't fail because of one hurdle. Where are you guys? do you post here still?
Who's in the RP Team anyway?
I'm working on Bel'la O'. I've contacted the leaders to find the 'scoop', hopefully I shall help bring it back with or without them.

Alot of questions again, let me make it easier for you.
Who're the development staff for GK?
GST, do you help if another person asks for help?
Where are the RP Team?
Does the RP team still post here?
Who's in the RP Team?

Zero, I respect you and ****, but what?
Bel'la O' isn't your kingdom.
I don't really know who's Zormites leader, nor do I care.
Zero, you're wanting to make a new GK. Not work on the
current one. You can't get anywhere without working
on the current project.
You know a reset won't occur. Why mention it?

GK won't under go huge development. You should know more then anyone.
How long did it take for the RP Team to try and remove Kefkin?
Let me think on that one.

I personally believe that if GK's entire system was revamped, and was in full working order... a Reset would be great - but you would have to entirely remake the GMAP, and all of the quests...

It's had a degree of glory - I'm trying to embrace the heritage from GK2K1 aswell. I'm willing to hear suggestions in personal messages.

If the suggestions I made were followed, it would recreate GK entirely - just as there are many games that follow the style of GK but are very different - GK would become an entirely new server.

Zormite was great, it wouldn't stand a chance in this day and age.
The only reason why Bel'la O' didn't work was due to the leaders ignorance and neglection.

Why're you writing a system for a kingdom that doesn't exist?
Care to elaborate what this new system involves?

Have you looked around?
See how many Level 110's there are with full +12 equipment?
Now tell me how many got there legitimately.
That's why people want a reset.

However, he has conditions for a reset, because without making any changes, the same thing will simply happen again, and sometime down the line, we'll be having this same argument once again.

I agree. Their are way too many. I dont really play GK but I know about some of the problems it has. I dont strongly agree with a reset but it wouldnt hurt. As Butz said their are too many high level people who cheated too reach that achivement.

Hmm, understandable, but is a full reset truely the answer for this specific reasons? The staff were too lazy to fix a couple abusable "bugs"(these "bugs" have been around for how long now....?) so we reset everyone? I'm pretty sure a good amount of legit players wouldn't be too thrilled.

Maybe a change to the system so these level 110s aren't so godly during wars*cough* Kingdom Mode *cough* may be a better solution.

Besides, most level 110s are that level by doing the rubies recipe(which Lance said was not a bug when it was discovered), and stealing from Lords(which so far is also stated as not a bug). Both of which anyone can really do.

The only bug I know that's being abused is the two people being level 110 and partying to abuse the low level wisdom for high physique. Now this bug I can definitely see calling for a reset, but since it's only being abused by small amounts of people, it doesn't really call for a mass reset.

sorry but not only "a few" used that physique-wisdom bug. like 50% did and those who did are way too strong. the new player NEVER can reach to be that strong.
1 reason: they have to usd for their items which many won't do (this was not supposed to be i guess)
2 reason: all new players can't buy any brutal maps because they cost like 5 times more than they are worth it.
3 reason: there are many idiots that don't let them enjoy game so they quit.

i have to add that the prices on GK are awful. why the heck did diamonds go to 500 plat per? how dumb is that (think bout it). same with brutal maps beeing sold for 5k each. that's just... there we are back at the point buying stuff for real money. it seems it's the only way to success at this game.

I don't think so. Most players don't buy items for real money, only a handful, because they want to be "cool and leet".

The prices for diamonds or brutals are made by the players. It's like in real life: supply and demand!
Don't pay so much, offer less and the prices will go down.

When I go to check the trade room in Bomboria, I see all the time the same people there. Most of them don't play the game, they just looking to make a "good deal". Some of them are Scammers and/or "for USD seller" and only one or two going to do a short trade and leave when it's done.

Most of them got there legitimately by making DoV until they maxed out their mental level. There's nothing illegitimate about that.

That's why people want a reset.
They're your reasons, not Zero's.
I can understand that though, but most people got there legally.
