Books on 2k2 are a very intresting feature, allowing people to essentially create their own libraries. But there are a few problems: the books are too small, limiting you're writing to, oh, mabey 8 sentances; and their too uniform: all books look alike, all tomes, etc.

Why not have a Book-Crafting Shop- you have to bring boards to get turned into the pages, and then gems and stones to get a special cover. At the end of the process, you say the name of the book and it becomes the name, not book, but The Tale of Hirathia, not tome, but the Sacred Text of Brigid, etc. These books would be bigger to allow more to be written into them, but as a balancing point, you would gain no mental EXP for it. It'll just be nice to have a Kingdom's history and tales recorded for new people to access.

Also, perhaps a new building type is in order too, a library. This also necessitates a new right- L (Librarian) Only a librarian can place a book on a podium/table/bookshelf and remove it, but everyone else can simply come and read it.

I like that idea very much, but I think it would also be great if you were able to create your own personal library as well.

The idea sounds good... another thing I'd like to have changed as far as books are concerned: book shelves should be limited to books and take up to, say, 500kg - least more than 10kg... you can put 2 4kg-books or one 8-kg book in it... what kind of a shelf is that? °°
