sugestion to make the webpage better

I might actualy like the current graalonline.com if it weren't for the fact that its not friendly to browsers that aren't internet explorer. Seems that the mainpage is a meg of loading as it is and the navigation bar at the top of the screen LOADS LAST. Thats not fun on a 56k.
I've tried Opera, Mozilla (and even lynx, but just for fun) and the bar loads last, (or not at all in the case of lynx, but thats to be expected).
Think the loading time could be cut down? I have an idea: maby making it so the screenshot thumbnails aren't the same image that they link to (thats what they are, just scaled down).

or maby just fiddling with how the nav bar works so it loads soooner.

Spark910 has a spectacular aura about
Maybe you said it but:

1) The screenshots should be smaller images, like icons then click for full imahe

2) Navigation re-organised.

I think it'd be nice to have the Forums use the login from the Graal Accounts DB, same with the helpdesk, that way I'd have one account instead of 3 for Graal. Login once. (Yeah, I'm lazy )

Exactly, one account that is connected on the forums, help-desk, website, and graal.
And being able to stay logged in on the site.

The problem with this suggestion :
The forums and the Graal Website are not on the same domain. When you log in to Graal, a "cookie" is set to tell the website you're logged in (that's a bit more complex but the idea is here).

Your browser will send the cookie only when you're browsing the graalonline website, and the forums don't get that cookie.

Before, it was possible to set a cookie from domain1.com for domain2.com but now the new IE6 cookie protection blocks it (more than 80% of visitors usually use IE6). We can't make a such big improvement only for people using older versions of IE or Opera (dunno if opera accept cross-site cookies), Mozilla (dunno too), Konkeror, Lynx, iBrowse, Miami, etc... (yup I have know lots of browsers, even Amiga ones)

And finally, this is just for the look&feel. Since we have some other, more important, things to do, this idea will not be added to our TODO list for now (later, maybe ? )

So in other words, it'll never happen.
