Class Based Attacks/Skills

[Mikoto]

It would be nice if say you are a Barbarian, right? Okay, you can go to the Master Warrior place or something like that and learn special skills for being a Barbarian. For example a "Whirlwind" attack. That when you do a certain combination of keys or you double click the skill you will perform this attack. Another example is "Deadly Earth" or something like that where you smash your sword/axe/hammer into the ground and it sends a powerful earthquake attack to the target. And if you are a Wizard there would be something like "Rapid MP recovery" which would recover your MP faster. If your a Priest maybe a special "Summoning" spell?

hmmm... and maybe wizards able to have a chance of pulling off a spell even if hit...
maybe warriors can power attack... thieves can lunge and parry... barbarians can bull rush attack.... but there gotta be a way to balance warrior and wizard classes first... then the fun honky dory stuff can come... preferably for the wizard classes first because all that has been done to wizards is degrades and slow-downs....

Yes, wizards need spells that actually do noticeable damage (other than runes) the only other good damage spell i can think of is cause crititcal wounds, and thats not even a wizard spell. Maybe once magic missile actually does something, missile storm will be good :o

.. and maybe .. JUST MAYBE .. remove wizards being hurt by their own spells? I mean, come on .. it's MAGIC. You made the spell .. why would you want your own spell to kill you?! :o

I can see why they would want spells to do damage to the caster, but it would be nice so i don't constantly kill myself with critical wounds :o

Softer start for Priests. Instead of talking to the wizard, they get to choose a shrine from The Temple of Eight Gods, or they get to start with Govannon or a random god or the newbie spells don't require gods, or something.

I tried out the intro. Got killed by an evil bomy. How much does THAT suck?
