replaceani lift,carry,carrystill

These commands don't seem to like me. How does it detect whether or not a gani is valid for lift, carry, carrystill? I figured out the hard way in order to be a valid lift, it has to setbackto (the original) carrystill...

Further inspection - I have a valid lift, an invalid lift, and now the overridden carry and carrystill work (but only with the original lift) - but they put the carried object on the player's head, whether I want it to or not...I know this is pushing the envelope and all, but ah, shouldn't it go where the corresponding ATTR3 is in the gani...? Else what's the point of having it there at all, wasting an ATTR slot? (Particularly when it's already #6?)

are you getting the problem when the second you pick an object up, it throws it?
if so this might work:
dont use replaceani and just have gani params, the param being the image being carried by the character (probably a 32 x 32 image) you would probably have to completelly rescript walking though, since graal is picky about the lift and carry ganis
