you know what wuld be kool but i dont think is posiblie is if u could like example: if u could put desert pillar and then select it then click on a find button that would have grass, and dessert on it and then u could click go and it woud find the tiles that u need....

i dont know if someone has thought of this before but if someone has tell me

Yes, the tiles really should have different layers.
