And Once again......(Stefan and Sanstrata's FTP)

Well once again it has happened. Some guy found/hacked(Whatever you wish to call it) our FTP password, and now, Once Again, all our levels have been deleted.

This also happened 3 weeks ago.

2 weeks ago all our levels were deleted. So I immediatly logged on to g2k1. Saw stefan, so I sent him a PM.
"The owner needs to send me the new password via forum PM"

That was 3 weeks ago. Our FTP still hasn't been changed, and now, once again, our levels are being deleted.

I've followed your instructions stefan, what more do I need to do?

There was a guy who said (he was staff on your server, has an RC) that you would create new planets, and you can travel between them and colonize them and create armies. Whatever happened to that cool idea?

That Idea is still coming, we've been planning on creating that as "New Sanstrata", and that is still coming. We haven't uploaded a lot of it yet mainly because so many people have ftp after it was hacked/foundout(whatever you want to call it), we dont want our stuff stolen. Believe me, it's still coming, but we're waiting for Stefan to change our FTP password.

all i can say is, backup regularly, just backup while you're doing something, it'll help in the long run

We do, believe me.

I have back ups, the other Owner has back ups, GM has back ups, GP Chief has back ups, Old LAT has back ups. We have back ups of our back ups. But thats not solving our problem. It's helpful, but we really just need our ftp changed in order for us to progress.

Yep, new sanstrata is being mande and cmoing along nicely. There will be fun jobs to earn money, space ship travel in a vast galaxy with its star systems, asteriods and anomalies, and planets to visit, befiriend, attack or inhabit. Yep, new sanstrata is being mande and cmoing along nicely. There will be fun jobs to earn money, space ship travel in a vast galaxy with its star systems, asteriods and anomalies, and planets to visit, befiriend, attack or inhabit. And armies in which you can work yuor way up in rank by diffrent uqests, challanges, and everytihg you kill. Cool storyline too. I understand your sympathies but FTP's like this can't be "hacked". So, the password was leaked by staff, or was passed around by someone who it got leaked to a long time ago.

That is why I said "hacked/found out/whatever you want to call it"

because I really dont care, many people have the ftp password that shouldn't have it.

Was that as in a LONG time ago in the first test server when sanstrata was up?

Or Was that just like yesterday when I found Sanstrata Cafe on my hard drive and uploaded it again?

I sent Stefan an email requesting a new FTP password, he replied asking ofr a new password, which I sent to him October 17th via email. If you did not get that email Stefan, please email me at [email protected] thanks.
