I would like to announce, that there will be a big Spar Tournement at the 23rd September 2012 at 5 PM EST.

Eligibility Requirements:
Gold Subscription

K.O. System
Allowed Players: 16-24 (depends on the number of participants)

1st Prize:

Ring of War
(Str+3 / Dex+3 / Con+3 / Wis-1 / Int-1 / Pow-1 / speed+5 / wc+3 / ac+2 / armour+30 / resist magic -20 / regeneration +3)

2nd Prize:

Bunny Tail
(speed+1 / luck+1)

3rd Prize:

Farming Hat
(Wis+2 / ac+1 / luck+1)

Well everbody in my eyes is able to buy 2 Gelat Codes and participate if they want to win a nice Prize. I will host more such events if it suceeds so Gold will be required, for sure.

Gold is required cus people with trial gonna cry they lose cus they dont have gold, and it generate less complains from players about the event,

i still dont see the point of gold only. the reasons you listed were absolutely retarded. 8 people signed up so far and it's not very likely that 16 people are gonna come up last minute and sign up... gold players having priority over trials if the list was filling up would make sense tho...

Well there is still 1 week to register, so 8 people so far is not bad at all.

Players should be rewarded for buying a Gold Subscription, so Im limiting -my- Events for gold-only. Will host more if that Spar suceeds.

How about the fact they can play Graal Kingdoms with more luxury than a trial/classic account? It seems more like you're turning your events into a gated-community affair, because some people waste their money on a subscription doesn't mean they deserve bratwurst and hamburgers while the rest get kids lunchables and ramen noodles.

GK is dead though.

They removed observer mode, so I don't see why trials can't participate, as paying for gold gives enough advantage anyway with levels and such. It seems way easier to just buy some items like everyone else did than pay 20 bills for 3 hours of gold use and attempt to win them. That would just be my opinion though.

Like, is it still possible to get a legitimate set of gear without USDing anymore? Since only like 5 people play and they already own the economy, people don't actually trade for diamonds or anything do they?

Just to set things straight there is no hard/soft mechanic for poison. You apply poison or not and the potency of the poison is just a dice roll...

As for holy possession the only thing that scales with wisdom level is its duration and level 10 wis holy poss lasts long enough for a spar (NOTE THAT THE STRENGTH OF HOLY POSSESSION IS STATIC AND DOESN'T SCALE WITH YOUR LEVEL). Phys level isn't affected by the cap so there's no issue there.

Holy possession makes poison weaker
Without holy possession makes the poison more effective

10 Wisdom does not last a spar if you're so sure it does i'd like to see you show up on Sunday? and there's still advantages for gold? Not being able to get poisoned. Poison is what changes the spar right around. Happy?

That's what I've been arguing for this entire thread......... for trials to be allowed to participate..... despite being at a disadvantage... did you read anything that's been posted in this thread at all?

And I don't think you understand hard and soft limits brody. It can't be applied to poison really... Whatever.

I don't care if trials can participate but it wouldn't really make a difference same person will still win trials cant really dish in damage because people easily regen in spar BUT when poisoned you cant really even if you pray.

IF you do not have a holy possession the poison (you receive) will be far more effective no matter who it comes from.

When you have a holy possession it wont be as effective (still effective but your stats don't get lowered as much when having a holy possession you only lose 3,3,3)

When you do not have a holy possession a poison can be 5,8,4 random but stronger.

It really isn't as simple as holy pos = 3 3 3 and non holy pos = random number. Also there are ways to bypass resists pretty easily and almost always apply 10 10 10 poisons. Only a few people know about it and hopefully these people haven't spread that **** around. Not that it matters with dat playercount

In the end, it's idiotic not to allow trials to participate. You don't want playercount? they're at a disadvantage enough.

There's much more serious problems to attend to, I'd agree with a full server reset (after specific changes) and I'm in the top ~#20 of experience and even higher in wealth in the game.

There is no item progression/distribution outside events. A reset would lead exactly to where we are today, minus a large portion of the items we have to play around with today.

1) A Server reset wont help, get that in ur head finally. You will just make all the oldbies quit, but how are you sure new people will join GK? You dont think at the worst case scenario.

2) I dont even know why you people are arguing. I didnt read all of the stupid posts. My Event. My Rules. You want an event which lets trials participate and such? Fine, donate some items and do it, dont be the jackass who is always complaining but doing nothing. You are really annoying Felix, seriously. Im fine with ur questions and critism, but not with your foolish and offensive posts on my Thread. I guess you think this is the Graalians Forum where people thinks you are cool.

3) At the moment there is not much to do on GK, I can just get ahold of Tig rarely to get some updates going on GK, so Im trying to do it with EVents. Like I mentioned before, THIS Event is only for Gold-Members. If you want to join upgrade, if not leave it. I dont really care. If we cant hit the 16, I will also start it with 10 or 12.

Next bashing or flaming on this Forum will be reported, and if you participate on my Event, also get kicked out of it.
I dont care cancelling the Event though, I dont mind keeping that items. So stop it right now.

K.O. System, Always 1vs1 and so on. There will be also a fight for the 3rd place.
Classic melee tournement, Holy P is ok and using scrolls before the Event Im fine with. Not during the Event of course, also no Mana Leafs or something which could recover your HP.
No Magic, No Bows, No Crossbows.
Running is fine, but to much is not.

So basically prior to every spar the fighters will be allowed to leave for holy p and scroll popping/kvasir popping?

Would be interesting to see some non holy pos/non poison spars in the future. I remember Sean hosted a few of those a while back and they were a lot of fun. It definitely helps bridge the gap between mid-tier geared players and the 33 33 3X ballers.

Good Idea. No Holy P sounds fun. We will do that. But how to check if people didnt use it at all? Should wait 10-15 minutes in the Dojo before starting?

No holy p is mostly to avoid ogma's poison/dian's blind. The real kicker is no poison. If one player gets poisoned it's pretty clear someone is cheating. Too bad there's no disabling poison/blind in the EM tool.
