I just got back from vacation and what do i see people that are so fricking rich by abusing the fishing and balm bug that the total economical side of gk is ruined. Stefan you really need to do something about this

Why should everyone suffer? If you want to restart, you can restart yourself, or just restart the people abusing stuff, I don't see how the whole server should be punished for what a select few did. Also, Stefan already said the server would not be reset so people need to stop making threads, its getting real annoying.

I look forward for restarts on any game really...gives me a chance to fix what I did wrong, but since character stats points, skill points, spell points whatever the hell else is non-existant theres no real wrong way to level unless you've died to much....I think character attribute points should be made...gives more strategy and tactics on how you design your character.

If players can change their stats remove the auto gain to HP, MP, Grace, and spell powers and force players to choose which they stat they want to put their stuff in

Like 3 stat points each level or something.

Dont do it! Its really annoying, you join a gold server, spend HOURS and DAYS getting money and leveling up etc.. And then everyone gets reset! Its getting boring, dont reset.

There should be a rule in the GK forums against starting threads about resets ..

.. there will be no reset, just a final server .. so stop fussing about it ..

If I remember correctly that GK isn't even the real GK server?

Isn't there supposed to be a new *final version GK server later?

so truefully I don't understand whats wrong with resetting now when everybody down the road will be reset anyways.

Well they said they would never reset either server.

There would be the current server and the new server.

Of course you'll have to move to the new server to get the new features. so bah.

I worked hard to get my stuff and build my house, now I'm working hard to get furniture and stuff. Training my skills, my magic, earning money, learning piety and praying, that's all left on my 2do-list, so I can say I'd hate it if there was a reset. I never had problems with others because their higher level, money, whatever. After all, GK is about roleplaying, not bare competition. You can roleplay if you're a citizen as well as a high mage can, and I think it even adds to the possibilities you have.
I'm not focused on leveling at any price, I do what I see fit for my character - and what I like to do. So maybe people who have a problem and demand a reset just see it in another (wrong?) way?

Reasons why there should be Reset

To remove
bug exploits
alchemy items
items given unfairly to somepeople
super powered event items
Resolve balancing issues

Also would be good if these things were done if there was a reset
Level requirements on all items
Removing skills which cause unbalance in the classes
(i.e. barbarians that can read, do magic, and etc, or wizards who can wield heavy weapons)
Make skills have a class requirement
Adding a skill picking ability when making your character (skills which are level 1 and is related to the class you pick)
Allowing people to choose 5/6 body and pants at character creation
Allowing people to choose 8/9 hair types at character creation
Allowing people to choose their stats at character creation
(have it so all stats start at 5 and allow people to throw 10-15 stats to the mix)
Give the ability to choose starting town after completing training island (On a kingdom Island)
Add Taverns to 2 out of the 3 towns (Allow people to buy drinks, food etc)
Removing sword enhancement scrolls (make more swords, use same swords over and over just with different level requirement and stats)
Make AC and WC start at 0 and go UP!
Create Unique and legendary items found only by defeating extremely high level monster bosses (Level 80 type monsters)
Allow players to put points into skills and spells on level up along with stat points
What a doozey!

At first, I thought it was really off, but then when you said add stats at level up, I realized how much more it makes sense (because startig with 5 in every stat and then adding 10-15 in total is like...nothing.)

Balm bug?
You mean putting 1 dievel feet & 1 gold in cauldren cast alchemy take out balm & cast alchemy on that and get 50 plat?
Fishing bug is umm the bug when u fish dead fish XD
U fish a fish when hes about 2 die u fish him again & ull have a dead fish & everytime u fish em u get 1 plat & if u make a big stack u can get like 100 plat each time pulling it!!!
