Weird GUI bitmap problem

I'm having a weird problem with a custom GUI image I made. I used a template, and it appears to be layed out in the right order... but it's really messed up when applied.
Here's the GUI image, and here's a screenshot of what's happening. Any idea how to fix this?

I think you need to move the upper line (6 images) one pixel to the left, it's not good when there is a red border on the left. It's probably skipping the first 6 images.

You should describe the way how those images work in an extra post, so errors like this can be found and fixed more easily. Would be useful I guess.
